I might add a V8 and V12, but the only mod for those is the T-Series more engines mod. I might PM Capkirk for permission to use them.
@MrJavelin ,what if you just make a COE (Cab Over Engine) Truck, just remove the Hood of the T-Series, move the Engine below the Cab, make the Nose of the Cab Flat, and the BeamNG Moderators / Developers would see your mod and could turn it into an actual vehicle, I highly recommend you to do that!
We're in quite the pickle jar, aren't we? Yeah, a lot of parts are sourced from the T-series, so don't expect too much uniqueness.
right, bu actually, smooth en every edges in the cab, you can add the T-Series Interior, and thats all!
It's a bit more complicated than that. There's still the lights, grille, horns, windows, etc., etc., etc., that I need to do before I bevel anything.
MrJavelin, I am really looking forward to this mod. By the way, I have a question for you. Have you considered doing a camper/RV upfit to one of the trucks?
Well Javelin, can't say I haven't been following this mod silently and sitting on the whim of the currents. This mod looks damn impressive and I hope it will get in game with no to minimal bugs. But one thing that is bothering me is the length of the cab... I'm not a huge fan of flat-nose trucks because of the length and curvature of most american made flat-nose trucks. The peterbuilt's being pretty high on my list... Will there be a non-sleeper cab version as well? Also, what type of engines are going to be added? I understand the engine will be from a T-Series but do you think maybe modelling your own engine could be a possibility?
It might be a better option to model them yourself so you can fit it around your engine bay juuust the way you want it to be. Whilst this would mean a increase in time before the mod is done and an increase in your effort. But, I must say, it will have a great effect.
