On the topic of a rally Bolide, can the 200BX get a rally config as well? I know that 180/240SX weren't popular rally cars, but I guess a 200BX rally car would be fun

Right now the 200BX would be a horrible base for a rally car simply because it is a tremendously scary ride on dirt. Even the factory configs, based on what I remember, you put a non-paved surface under them and they just do not want to do what you want them to. Even DuneWulff's lifted version has this problem (though this may be due to Radial T/A tires, too much power, and the fact that DuneWulff tends to set his suspension tuning way too stiff).

Those two on the left aren't so much the result of Hot Wheels making cars for kids as the designer paying homage to an odd bit of Japanese car culture.

There were a bunch of these 'deformed scale' model kits floating around in mid-eighties Japan, which in turn were inspired by caricature art of cars that was popular at the time. It was sort of the equivalent to Ed Roth's cartoons on the other side of the Pacific.

I wouldn't want them in BeamNG, at least not as official vehicles, but I will defend their inclusion in the Hot Wheels lineup.

Now since we're talking about rally cars, I'm surprised that nobody has brought up the Miramar. There's already a complement of rally parts for it in-game and ready to go. I think that we're only a skin, a skidplate, and a set of external lights away from an official configuration.

That can be said about literally every car ingame. All of them already have the option for rally suspension; they’re just missing the parts you listed.

Im going to continue pushing for a revamped Moonhawk. We need more malaise, and its a platform that is already made, making the missing body styles wont take as long, it fits with the lore and the community certainly would be happy to have a wider selection of cars, including the all important American wagon that is missing right now.
The same could be said for the Bluebuck Wagon, that also would seem almost as a necessity with the era that car comes from, and the Minivan based on the LeGran, however this one would be as easy as it involves designing a new car from the ground up

Honestly Srockzz, I think having the Moonhawk get a revamp would be an awesome idea. We could have 4 door sedan configs, wagon configs, ute configs, etc. I know there are Moonhawk mods out there that have those configs, but still. I still don't think a Moonhawk remaster/expansion would be a bad idea at all.

It also needs more engines, since other midsize coupes/sedans of the era typically had a 250-ish cubic inch I6, 300-ish cubic inch small-block, 350-ish cubic inch small-block, 400 cubic inch big-block, and a 440+ cubic inch big-block (based on Malibu, Fury, Matador, and Torino). Of those, the Moonhawk only has the I6, since the 378 cubic inch big-block V8 doesn't really fit into any of the categories. On top of that, the models for the engines are incredibly low-res, and the rest of the car is missing a ton of finer details, like brake lines, rear seat arm panels, a grille that isn't filled in, etc, and it's missing a ton of options from the era as well, like a vinyl or landau top, chrome mirrors. front bench seat, front valence on '76 fascia, among many others.
The textures on the Moonhawk are also absolutely terrible as well. Sure, it looks good when the camera's zoomed out, but when you really look at it up close, you start to notice how the Bruckell badge is really pixely, the seat textures are made of a blobby unidentifiable substance (cloth? leather? vinyl?), the radiator isn't even trying, and the frame and suspension basically have no textures and are straight up just painted matte black with a few pixelated details. Then again, all older vehicles ('96 Pessima and before) need a complete retexture, but I digress.

Yes, we know. You want a rally bolide and the fulmine. We get it. You don't have to repeat it any more.

Okay then. By the way, I think the 1996 Pessima needs an update soon.
Exactly, Spicymeysmeys420 has stated that he wants the rally Bolide about a 1,000 times. By the way, speaking of bringing things up so many times. I would like to say that I apologize for bringing things up so many times in the past.

So, just out of nowhere in particular, and with nothing but baseless speculation to base this on,

Does anyone think that the second phase of D-series/H-series/Roamer updates will bring us an old-school monster truck chassis?

I think a h series shuttlebus or campershell would be a great addition aswell, because why not?

A shuttle bus is actually something that is missing, so I'd consider it possible

I think it makes alot more sense for a bus in italy, because the wentwart is just a little too oversized in some parts.
    Its american after all.

Would we even need a new chassis for that? When I think "D-Series monster truck", the below is what I have in mind. 2.5 or 5 ton axles (I still don't know which...) and a big block engine. It's certainly a lot of suspension work, but I don't think it's at the point where a new frame is needed.
    upload_2020-2-18_8-16-22.jpeg

After the crawler Hopper, I'd say this is certainly within the limits of official content. I doubt it would come with the phase 2 since that'll probably be "finishing" the factory content, but maybe someday.

Speaking of axles and the Hopper, I still say that needs a 1 ton axle.
