About the new car, I'm curious if there will be a US-spec version, with US plates. Are French cars even sold in the US anymore? Will the new car at least be compatible with the US plates?

 

No French cars have been sold in the US for decades as far as I can remember. It will likely be EU spec only.

I would like to see general emergency equipment put into these vehicles. Like a rugged mounted laptop, and metal partitions.

I would like to see at least the police cars be remastered with proper interior equipment.

 

race interiors, police interiors, they'll come eventually. i'm positive. it's super odd to drive a race car or police car with it's stock interior, and considering how out-of-place the hopper's stock interior looks in the rockhopper, i'm hoping they'll get on it relatively soon. i actually almost expected a racing/stripped interior to be added to the hopper when the crawler came out, to be the first in the game, but no such luck.

 

Well, does it have to be only French influences? Because ngl I see a lot of Leon, Focus, and a bit of McLaren in this car as well.

 

i see quite a bit of focus and even volvo in it.

let's not forget that the ibishu hopper is hugely based on a jeep wrangler, which is an american vehicle.

 

Peugeot announced last year they are coming back to the US plus the merger with FCA so :/

 

The cars in question might show up mid/late 2020's at the earliest, and this car is early 2020's, so probably no US version.

 

I agree that it is unpleasant to look at, however, only in the front. the rear is fine.

Will this update solve the problem below?

 

The French fled the US market years ago because no one wanted the automotive equivalent of an early M16 rifle. However Peugeot appears to be set on returning, and not every BeamNG car is an exact equivalent to a real-life car (even the 200BX, which looks like a dead ringer for an S13, is actually a mixture of the coupe and liftback versions), so US-specific bits would definitely be nice to see even if few default configurations use them.

 

This is only a devblog giving us a preview of that cherear veavacay, I'm guessing on a release for around the beginning of march. That car probably isn't the only thing thats coming to the update, and we haven't really got a "proper" teaser for it like every other vehicle gets a few days/weeks before release.

 

Yea I'm guessing around early/mid March.

If I were to take a guess the update will include the Vivace and various revamped maps (Port, Small Island, JRI?? etc.)
Revamps to vehicles are likely too. I'm guessing the next stage of the D-Series revamp, possibly a Bollide revamp too?

 

Will the high performance variant or the Cherrier Vivace comes with the turbo I5 and manual transmission?

 

It seemed to me to have two performance versions with the yellow one and the blue. One FWD and i4 like a Focus St/Golf GTi and one i5 and AWD like a Focus RS/Golf R

 

I appreciate the lights across the back, I've always liked that lighting format on cars. Also, I like the diverse range of models, all of them have unique design ques.

Also, the pictures on DB reveal seem to have slight motion blur. Is that just a post effect or should we expect something with the in-game camera? Also, the sunset and overall weather seem more realistic and pleasant, particularly the picture of the (whatchamacallit new car) jumping on that road in the sunset (I can't give the exact picture bc the website is getting real bad buffering on my pc).
