The crash sound are not broken on my side, try clearing your cache check the troubleshooting section of the forum
I installed the mod as you said, started the game a couple of times but i don't see any changes. In game it shows that the mod is in fact installed, and i also cleared cache.
you need to unpack the mod you'll get two files, one folder and one zip file, both of them most be put in the mod folder and not in the repo folder or any subfolder
This mod is really lovely, it actually served as a reason for me to downgrade a copy of BeamNG to 0.18.4! Aside from an update, though, is there any chance that the old shifting sound (like the one where you could hear the player shifting the shifter while changing gears) could be brought back? It was my FAVORITE feature when it worked in the previous version, and it makes driving stick feel even more cooler than driving automatic! Hopefully reviving one old sound wouldn't be terribly difficult, right? Hell, I'd even settle for the stick-shifting sound by itself as a standalone mod!

I had it working as a regular zipped folder but it stopped and whatever i do its still fatal vehicle error. Any chance of an update? (Or can I get older beamng version?)
Well hopefully the day comes soon. I would enjoy using this mod again. The extra sounds it's adding in, like the car chime, or water splash sounds were pretty good. Some of the sounds like signals and such are now even in the base-game. Maybe you can get in-touch with the staff and see if you can't integrate some of these sounds into the game itself. That is a much better approach than just a mod. Just make sure none of your sounds are from other commercial game assets, or any other copyrighted sources.
YES.. EXACTLY! Isn't it funny that a whole company (might be worth millions) can't make a better sound pack than a single mod developer? They should pay this guy a lot if he were to work with them!
Thank you guys haha I'd like to update the mod but it's pretty... Janky, I would need to rewrite everything, let's hope I get time and motivation to do it

this mod broke my game so i had to uninstall it but for some reason this mod fixed my scrolling when im about to select a car. EVEN when i uninstalled it which is really weird
