Hi all! I figured I should keep you all updated on my project.

I just created a walk around video explaining what I've done to it and my future plans :D

I will try to keep you all updated on the rebuild here :D.

if you have this stuff 3d modeled, you definitely need to mod it onto the sunburst.

Bold of you to assume that it has the structural integrity to be modded.

Ah are you talking about the chassis failing?

Funny enough, I have 40s and my dad has an extra 7.3 IDI, it needs to heads though (if anyone has any extra laying around :p )

Yeah, it feels like it's got the structural integrity of an Espace Convertible.

The Subaru unibody is pretty strong, my one friend that offroads his WRX all the time had his chassis crack at 400,000 miles. My other friend had a 500$ impreza, we would floor it into ditches and it held up fine. My WRX has 195,000 miles and no issues with the chassis.

My bugeye WRX was written off in a 5mph collision with chassis damage at 100000 miles. Yet no rust or anything.

They wrote off my WRX in an accident too, the metal behind the fender was bent about 2 inches. Still drives fine though and alignment is ok. Was your car not driving ok after that? As in, wheels wouldn't align?

Inner fender/firewall weld cracked completely, radiator and bumper supports both collapsed, radiator and air conditioning condenser tried making babies, airbag warning light jammed on, then while on back of a recovery truck, full airbag deployment.

Insurer came to a £4500 repair bill on a car only worth £2500, was already looking to change cars so wasn't logical to attempt a buyback and repair

I have the footage, plus they hit me. TBF. 5mph is an estimate figure. It's more, how fast can a Toyota accelerate backwards in a 2 meter gap at full throttle, which, can't be fast? I guess just wrong angle.
What sucks more, it didn't even look that bad. But category C write off, I don't have space or time to do a buyback and fix. Take the cash and put it towards a new car, which is why I now have a 2015 focus ST

Sorry for the bump, but I'm curious as to how the build of this car has been going since the last reply to this thread.
