When I was growing up, I had a neighbor who babied this Plymouth Laser. I just realized it's been for sale, hasn't moved in 5 years. It's last inspection was in 2015, Should I buy it though is the question. It has 2.0 I4, 5-speed manual, no rust, and lots of mold.

You'd be surprised the interior is in really great shape just quite a bit of dust.

The mold is all on the outside thankfully.

If you like it and can get it for a good price, why not buy it?

Ironically the Ford Probe was this car's competition

the turbo 2L is the same one as found in the Evo until the early 2000s

It is not a turbo but it shares it's engine with the Mitsubishi Eclipse and the Eagle Talon of the time

Seems like it would be a good car to flip, seeing its good condition and relative scarcity. If you want it as a daily driver, the price doesn't seem too bad. The mileage is certainly something you'll want to know; anything over 100,000 probably isn't worth it for a car like this. You'll also probably have to spend more on parts on maintenance than you would a typical daily driver.
