I've been looking for hours to see which car in real life is most closely resembles the Hirochi SBR4, and I came to a conclusion: Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo (the 2012 concept) is the most similar car to the SBR4...even though it has 2 extra doors, both are shooting-brake, the fronts of the cars are the same, also the shape, but the back is more like an audi r8, but both cars are produced by the same manufacturer (Volkswagen), so it counts as a porsche. What do you think? Vote
I thinks it's a Honda 458 Targa Sport 4WD+ Turbo, with 6.9 Valve per cylinder and a TOHC (Triple overhead cams). Oh and optionnal black painted sunroof to keep the sun away.
No car in Beam is meant to resemble one real car. Sure there are some that resemble a certain car in real life more than others but they aren't carbon copies of real cars like you'd see in other vehicle-centric games with fictional vehicles.
I think that could be the closest car in terms of visual design (altough still far away) but mechanically-wise, the Panamera is front-engined where as the SBR4 is rear-engined, so...
--- Post updated --- Well, there are a few that are very much like real stuff - 200BX and S13 240SX, Hopper and 1st gen Wrangler, Moonhawk and 1973-77 GM A-Bodies, LeGran and 1982-89 GM A-Bodies...
Love how you literally didn't read what he said and started spouting your vehicle basis bullshit again
Well, there are a few that are very much like real stuff - 200BX and S13 240SX, Hopper and 1st gen Wrangler, Moonhawk and 1973-77 GM A-Bodies, Some are really damn close, down to stuff like the engine displacements in the Hopper.
The SBR4 looks like a Mercedez Benz A-class (performance badge) but with those flaps at the back. I'm not sure which one it is since there are so many A-classes but definetly one of them
The SBR4 looks absolutely nothing like the A-Class. It takes minor styling cues from a multitude of vehicles but is not designed to emulate any one vehicle in particular.
2016 Dodge Viper ACR headlights(somewhat), Audi R8 rear, Porsche Panamera front bumper, and an Audi TT mixed with a 350z body style.
