    I mean it's simple chemistry (since fire is chemistry). The more fuel and less suppression supply (in this case water) the bigger the fire. One of the best way to prevent extreme wildfires is to let them burn while there small or do control burns. Do I blame anyone yes and I blame the lack of controlled burns the the extinguishing of small wild fires.... wait I'm talking about Australia this seem like a familiar discussion from 3 years ago..... huh the world is getting small.

    It's not just that. This guy Scummo cut off 70% of CFA funding before it got out of control. Fires started as early as October. Everyone knew it would be horrific with how controlled burns weren't allowed, government brushed it off underestimating it and curbing public opinion. "How goods the cricket?" In addition to that, Gillard had already sold off the best aircraft for water bombing months before. Now they're relying on untrained volunteers to fight off the biggest fires they've ever seen
