I having trouble with the camera path, I can't seem to access files

 

Missing Preview issue in Garage.

 

Speaking of car's in the garage they don't spawn straight and when you select a second one it moves the vehicle over farther.
My default spawn sunburst:

I cannot be the only one having this issue my game is vanilla as possible

 

Not sure if it was happening before but 14x8 TIMS Egota with 205 sport tires on 200BX breaks rear axles:

 

This is how the spawning system has worked since pre alpha. It's just that the Garage is the smallest "map" making it extremely obvious.

 

it's due to refnodes not being perfectly centred in the vehicle

 

Tested in Safe Mode and same rear tires blows under hard braking with or without ABS.

 

The LeGran's third brakelight is floating above the actual interior. I've confirmed that this is due to it not being altered when the body's shape was tweaked in 0.17.

(Tested in safe mode, glass removed for better visibility)

 

Haven't commented on an update in a long time but I must say .18 is wonderful. Sure looks like all the staffing up the past couple years is paying off.
I haven't laughed this hard tearing up vehicles in a long time. The sounds, the bodies coming off frames and deform tweaks are all spot on. Your work and attention to detail on all this is very much appreciated. Thank you!

 

The engine bay bug is still present after the hotfixes.
I've noticed it's also still visible on the Bluebuck

 

Would safe mode affect parts availability? Because I noticed (not safe mode, but 0 mods active) that the Gavril H-Series can't mount the Sport Front Sway Bar from the D-Series, and can't mount a rear sway bar at all. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I figured I'd mention it. (And even with the standard front sway bar, an H15 done up "Custom Classic" style is just hilarious fun.)

Also, the H-series has no MT gauge cluster, which when combined with the work package's switch to an automatic gearbox tells me that there is no in-universe factory MT version of the van, even a hypothetical base I6. Can a developer confirm/deny?

On a more positive note, the regular cab D15 Custom Classic, when parts selector'd back into existence, is at least as good as it was before, and on the new short frame it's just a riot (on a philosophical level too!) even if the shorter wheelbase makes it a little more likely to "snap" at the limit. Thus I would consider the loss of the regular cab/short bed D15 Custom Classic as a vanilla config at least partially forgivable if a short frame Custom Classic were added in whatever update gives the short frame vanilla configs.

Taking away the D15 Sport's AWD made the handling rather a mess, though the supercharged engine may be a better match for such a heavy vehicle than the old NA tuned version. On the other hand, if anyone has the old D15 AWD Sport config files hanging around, then light up my DM at the earliest opportunity. It may be possible to work them back into the lineup in a lore-friendly way, though I am curious why it was decided to make the RoadSport RWD and supercharged when the D15 Sport had been AWD since basically forever, and NA tuned since... sometime around the 4.5L/5.5L split?

Miramar base tachometer is insufficient for GTz variant; the GTz engine can rev all the way to 7000 and loves to wind out, but the standard tach only indicates to 6000 and can't even move into the blank space beyond that point. This would be understandable for a modified car, but a shocking oversight for a factory model. Also, I still think it has a rather odd selection of gauges.

I still think the LeGran is a very fun car to drive, although a careful comparison of cornering speeds against the Pessima 96 will reveal that the LeGran is always just a little slower, with the possible exception of certain extremely tight corners where the Pessima's gearing (big step between first and second, V6 can maybe sorta torque through it, I4s cannot) works against it. However the interior needs more love ASAP as people are right when they say it isn't up to the quality standards set by the other cars. The seats and shifter are the most obvious examples, but upon closer examination the gauge panel is rather lacking in detail as well.

Possibly to support manual transmissions, parking brake, ignition? It's literally the ONLY way to get FFB steering wheel like steering... (without the FFB ofc but it adjust's the steering like a wheel just thought it could use some work as most people have cellphones and not a $400 FFB wheel idk

And since there back far, please fix the sunburst's ultra high performance radiator so it doesn't overheat with 30psi of boost (Pretty shure almost all other cars wont overheat with full boost), and add a ultra high performance radiator to the Ibishu Hopper/Crawler so it can handle the v8's tuned.

 

Sometimes, some cars still get stuck in the van after a side impact. Van door seems to screw things over as well.

 

Grand Marshal's front hydraulics will collapse on slight impact with rally shocks. Actually they both just disappear.

EDIT. After thinking hard how hydraulic suspension works and where the front shocks could even fit, I report this only as a minor inconsistency.

 

Okay, here are some issues I feel like reporting.

1. The cloud and wind functions don't work on Small Island USA anymore



2. The door on the travel trailer/caravan doesn't open.



By the way, please let me know if this is just a standard game thing. I gotta feeling that it's an issue, but I could be wrong.
Also @Nadeox1, I have a question.

Will you and the other staff members remaster the caravan or no?

 

This is not implemented yet.

 

Fair enough, I think I had a trailerpack mod that allowed you to open the caravan door, but I don't have it anymore.

Not sure if bug or i just got worse at the game somehow, but parts of senseless destruction appear to be broken, the drag race for example: pieces of the drag car you're racing pass the finish line and the game counts that as a win for the drag car, so the only way i've been able to actually win is by cranking the wheel right and immediately spinning the drag car out before it gets away from you

then the next one, where you go over the bridge with the burnside, the rear right tire instantly pops before you even press start

i went and disabled all my mods just to make sure, still had the above issues

 

I tried wiping the setting and no updates were available.
