that particular generation, I have one and know how they drive, they are great cars just don't deserve the following it holds. The others are jsut as good if not better, but the first is the most overrates
That makes sense. The main thing I like about the 1st gen Miata though is that it looks like a smiling face coming at you when the lights are up.
Kia Telluride. I know it doesn't usually count as overrated (and maybe it's just me who sees this), but everyone hyped the shit out of it as soon as the concept came out. The production car didn't end up as exciting as the hype train wanted it to seem though, but people still seemed to be compliant with it anyways. It's not a bad vehicle per say, but the hype that came from the concept car wasn't warranted and as a result the production design failed to impress those who were excited to see it become reality to begin with. Although I can say, it still manages to look better than the horrid brother that is the Palisade (which fortunately got left in the dust for how bad that design was).
