That's not actually the car he wants to pull out. It's just in about the same condition of the one in the picture.
Oh, it's a different picture? Just wondering, what kind of engine is in those things? Like a 4 or 6 cylinder?
also when you go to start it for the first time, take the spark plug leads off and just crank it over for a good 15 sec (or maybe longer, that's just a guess). There's not going to be any oil left it the top end anymore and starting it right up could destroy a lot of shit depending on what type of valve train these cars use. ex) if it's overhead cam you could risk ruining the cam and head(s?), maybe more.
I have one that I want to save, a 1960 Buick Le Sabre 4 door. I want to buy it (guy wont sell it), fix it up, and paint it a bright candy-apple red, lighten it up, and modernize it. The Buick is just sitting at a storage facility, outside, on the top of a hill. Not the actual picture.
I will put up a vid of us starting it but it may not be for a long time. The thing is that it is in the middle of a forest and I have no idea how it got there. The only way to get to the vehicle is on foot. Also it is inmud so we cannot jack it up. I will keep ypu all informed about the prrogress we make but we might just end up stripping it down and sselling the parts separately or smashing it with bricks!
Alright 'Captain Sarcasm'. I meant does it tyrn over by hand or with a spare battery... Sent from my GT-S5830i using Tapatalk 2
