oh ok. i figured it needed to do that for that very reason its just kinda irritating after awhile. mostly because sometimes it will work and others it will just keep popping back up. thanks though!
Inconsistent panel seam normal maps. Note that the seams appear much wider on the Barstow than on the Bluebuck. The Barstow's UV maps could do with some refinement.
There is a possibility that this was deliberate as American cars of the time were not known for their build quality.
Haven't checked other vehicles, but tapping the brakes while the barstow main lights are on will make the textures invert
Because Burnside lights are broken. Blinkers on bumper looks odd, rear red lights are like you see above and headlights don't have texture when are turn on.
Also, like 90% of the vehicles, the high-beams don't work anymore. Every time someone mentions a problem with lights, textures, or reflections, Nadeox reminds them the new lighting system is still WIP, so I've learned to just live with the problems and trust that they're planning to fix them.
Well, high beams might not work if you have big FOV. In game there are some issues with it and depend of the FOV car lights will illuminate more or less.
ok so this started with the update. i decided to go back to the d15 marauder however i noticed i tended to veer to the left for some reason. after thinking it was a mod i decided to lift the front of the truck up and it started steering to the left even with my controller unpluged and it did it in safe mode. i have a gif of the truck doing it in safe mode https://gyazo.com/be6e7d9828f6c189f82c82a759c2d0ba
At the drag strip on WCUSA in the drag race menu, the button (Random oppenent (similar performance)) does not work but the random opponent button works everytime.
I thought this was just me. I have the same issue, no mods enabled. Using lifted 4 link suspension with offroad shocks etc. the front driveshaft is breaking even under very minimal stress
You need to find the configuration file and un-comment those. The file name is 'createThumbnails_config.json' Does not make sense, as 0.18.1 does not contain any changes to the loading part. Should act the same exact as 0.18 (except in 0.18.1 we included the pre-generated cache files for our content, that slipped from 0.18) Please check if you have modifications in Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels. Ideally you should not have any folders named as the original levels. Else do a Clean Install: https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F
I want say something about minimaps. Since ECA revamp minimaps have every single road marked on it. I thought it's good idea but after Utah revamp I think only main roads should be visible on GPS. Mining tunnels are great but since we can just look at minimap there are no joy to finding them. However, there is one unmarked tunnel near S-shape hill road leading to tourism centre. This is just straight mining tunnel, but because it wasn't marked on minimap I was much more happy that I found it by myself. So my idea is - leave only main roads on GPS.
One thing in particular that does make front drive shaft very vulnerable is increasing the link length adjustment on front axles. Though with it set to 0 I could easily floor it and bounce around the rocks, until rolling over and snapping the drive shaft... with the tires in the air.
Hey Nadeox1, I have an issue and I have cleared cache and disabled mods. It is a fuel light issue with the Covet.
You've reported this, like, five times. I believe that the fuel light is also off-center on the '96 Pessima, GM, I-Series, '89 Pessima, ETK 800, ETK K, and Roamer? Might be incorrect on some of those. I did some extensive testing in .17, I'll post screenshots of the affected vehicles when I can.
Sorry for reporting issues so many times. I was trying to get Nadeox1 to respond to the fuel light issue.
