t that looks really good so far, also will there be custom sounds because that sound like the normal beamng I4
its like the BeamNG sounds are realistic and sounds like actual engines! fascinating right? joking aside, it is a custom sound- it just so happens the beamNG I4 sounds close to it or it may be using a blend of both sounds- idk
I finally got the RWD swap done (as some of you saw in the video I posted yesterday). All of the engines can be mounted longitudinally. I managed to cram the engine + transmission in the short engine bay WITHOUT EVEN CUTTING ANYTHING. It needed a new exhaust system and a front subframe to support the engine. There was no way to add a differential to the beam axle so I made a double wishbone rear suspension. It feels a lot better compared to the beam axle even though it doesn't have a sway bar yet. The fuel tank didn't fit at all with the new exhaust and driveshaft. Now there's a 60L tank in the trunk. It functions very well and improves the weight distribution until something hits the rear... Also here's the 4 different seat patterns I've made (I don't think I have posted this yet?) There is but it's only the intake sound (the exhaust sound is the normal I4 sound). You can't really hear the intake sound in the video because the huge 2 inch fartcan makes the exhaust sound a lot louder. A generic rusty skin could definitely be done in Substance Painter very fast. But since I'm making the skin look exactly like my Fiesta, I find it easier to just photograph the rust spots and make the whole skin in Paint.NET. I made that one police skin. It's fully colorable too. I finally the center caps them after forgetting them for like 8 months. I also made an old version that fits with the old wheels and tires. sOmeBOdy pLeaSe hElp mE hOw cAN i fIX tHis nO mATEriAl eRroR hOw cAN i cLeAr ccAche iN ReAL LiFe?!?11 dO i nEeD tO rEStaRt mY LiFE?! Slightly off-topic but recently I got new carpets for my Fiesta. Because they are orange, I absolutely had to make this NO MATERIAL text from cardboard . My friend thought it was photoshopped when he saw the first picture.
This mod will be great. I hope he goes online someday. I myself had an XR2 a few years ago. Did a lot of fun the car.
In June I said that I'm not gonna AWD swap it but I don't know now. It shouldn't be too hard to do but there may be some problems with fitting the half shafts. The engine is mounted so low that there is very little space under it.
raelly cool. A friend of mine that had one in the back yard for years and, althought it is rusty the interior is spotles. also his interior is brown fake leather and gray cloth. I donìt know if it's original but i wanted to let you know
Hopefully the new update didn't ruin, or mess up half the materials on this mod. I know it did on a few mods that are really popular.
It did mess up at least these things: Literally everything is SUPER shiny and the glass turned invisible XR2 lights look weird (reflector isn't reflective anymore?) Front turn signals lost 75% of their color Gauges look very weird And almost all of the color presets look wrong (black & white are probably the only ones that still look ok)
