Me either, I love both bands. They've made their impacts in metal and rock, and deservedly so! SOAD's Toxicity album is a banger, and a lot of Korn's albums have their place in musical history. Anyways, one that I would boil down to a specific genre is modern rap. What the fuck happened during the transition from the 2000s to the 2010s? Literally almost rapper now lost their prestige or whatever reputation they had to either sell out, give it up, or exploit it. The lyrics are usually god awful, the sampling is subpar, the rapping can vary to generic to absolute garbo, and overall this genre needs to die off before my eardrums explode in a bloody fashion. No wonder some people refer it to mumble rap now, I'd rather listen to Cannibal Corpse with the volume maxed than any of those hacks trying to gain the reputation that people like DMX, Ice Cube, and Eminem had back in the 90s and 2000s.
I think System Of A Down and Korn have some good songs and I think they are decent, but I can see other people disliking those bands because of the vocals. As far as the rap topic goes, I don't care that much for rap. I dislike it less then modern pop and country, but I still don't care for it. By the way, what do you think of Cannibal Corpse?
Haven't listened to much of their content, but I do think they're pretty sick. I'm a metalhead, so I'm not really gonna dislike their kind of content (even if the lyrics are not for everyone, let alone the vocals).
Fair enough, I'm also curious as to what you think of the Black Eyed Peas. I don't think they are bad. They might be technically bad, but I think they are entertaining to listen to. They aren't amazing or anything like that, but I do think they are okay and I will definitely take them over Paramore or Jimmy Eat World any day of the week. By the way, what do you think of Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, The Jonas Brothers, and Green Day? I'm also curious if there are any metal bands you dislike. Fair enough, I probably do have different musical tastes from you. I do think that there is a bit of decent or even outright good modern music out there, but I do think at least 90% of modern pop and country is dog crap. I will talk about modern pop, modern rock, and country songs that I find to total crap if I make a thread on here about the worst songs of the 2010s decade from 2010 to 2019, but I will probably wait until at least January 1, 2020 to do that. As for a another musician I find crappy, I will go with The Jonas Brothers. I don't like their music at all. Their new song "Sucker" that released in 2019 (which is this year as of me writing this) is very annoying and has gotten way too much radio play in my opinion. I don't care for Creed either. I think that they are very boring and generic. I also don't like Motley Crue. They do have decent riffs, but the vocals are quite bad in my opinion. I would much rather listen to Brutal Death Metal, Slam Metal, or Deathcore with pig bree brees or squealing then Motley Crue. I also don't care that much for Red Hot Chili Peppers. They do have maybe some decent or even good songs, but I definitely don't love them. Now, my music opinion does tend to change quite a bit pretty often, so I may have different opinions on these bands in the future, but we will just have to see.
Cardi B: Barely music at all. Chris Brown: Should I dare even call him human? XXXTentacion: Admittedly liked his music at first, now can't go 5 minutes without wanting to blow my head off from it. Also a shitty person. Lil Xan: Can barely speak, managed to fucking overdose on Hot Cheetos, pulls guns on people, generally just a scroungy prick. Billie Eilish: Just can't stand her music and fanbase ("Oh yeah being depressed is a quirk and definitely isn't an actual mental illness that people genuinely suffer from").
Kid Rock... Do I need to even explain? This guy is the definition of "redneck rap", and the next time I see this fucking guy mentioned again I'm gonna chop my goddamn speakers in half for a breath of relief. He's also pretty much a "Durst", which is already a bad sign to begin with since Fred Durst is one of the most unlikeable singers to scathe the music industry.
Sorry I couldn't reply to your comment faster. I was watching a movie. Anyways, It looks like there are more people that dislike Kid Rock then I thought. I don't hate Kid Rock, but I do understand why other people do. Wait what? A rapper overdosed on Hot Cheetos? Is that even possible?
Yeah. Ate so many a hole got ripped in his stomach and coughed up blood. According to Xan himself: "I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and it ripped something in my stomach open, so I puked a little blood," I like Hot Cheetos too, but Jesus Christ.
Okay, so that's how it happened. Thanks for telling me. By the way, have any of you heard of rateyourmusic.com? You can rate music 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, or 5.0 and you also write reviews of music. It is a site where people review and rate music. I don't have an account on the site yet, but I do check it out quite frequently. Check out the site and see if you like it.
Considering what he did to Rihanna, probably not. WTF? My brain is having trouble processing this. How the f**k does that even happen? Sounds like an article the Onion would cook up or something.
Not particularly annoy me, but I do find it strange. --- Post updated --- I wish it was the Onion, but nope. Billboard.
No. Never, at all. I already suffer enough hear him talk about his fucking dick of all things, as if he won the lottery. Can't stand him as a person or a rapper.
I have heard parts of Chris Brown's music unintentionally in [worst songs of certain year] lists and I don't think he sounded very good at all. Alright, thank you for answering my question. Billie Eilish's vocals especially on "Bad Guy" really annoy me. I would rather hear pig bree brees or squeals then Billie Eilish's vocals.
I dislike Billie Eilish's music (at least on her 2019 album) because her whisper vocals annoy the crap outta me. Mullethead, what do you think of Billie Eilish?
