You need a wheel. Logitech G25 with H pattern goes for around $100 and are a great purchase (I use one).
I wanted to make a rock, it is likely that I have no idea about how to make a rock: I did like most from the ones that were lowest poly, but they still were too uniform I think, but it seems to be surprisingly challenging to figure out shape that would look believable rock from all angles. Also I did try to make textured ones, but I did not like them at all, not even when I got higher resolution textures, they just lack character or something:
I know I know- I got a G29 but it wouldn’t work with the computer for whatever reason. Wasn’t the right connector It said it was for PC on the box... Unless I am doing something wrong?
They all use USB connector? Maybe if you have laptop or something, you need USB hub, that is if you only have USB-C or something like that. Not much better rocks, but I think car stalker rock is pretty realistic.
There are node names like p4l which can mean that such node is not found from one reason or another. My understanding is that p4l is mentioned link target there and first thing to do would be to check if p4l exists in game, so looking debug view see if node with that name can be found. If such node is not supposed to be found, then some triangle definition calls node with wrong name. Any file inside folder pessima, pickup (also anything in mods folder, like if there is .zip that contains folder pessima inside mods folder counts as pessima folder, etc.) can change definitions of nodes and triangles, so make sure there are no other mods installed while working as things can get confusing pretty quickly. Those are just general ideas of how to start figuring out where the issue comes from, not sure if it is already something you know, but hopefully is some help at least.
You say he needs a wheel, but damn, this guy drives better with a keyboard than most could with a controller
Tried making some wheel faces from scratch today. Heres the result. RH ZW1 / PD1. Had these same wheels on my 190e a while back
I believe that the these RH wheels were actually a replica of the Porsche Speedline wheel. not sure who made the original Porsche wheels though . EDIT: I guess the manufacturer was actually a company called Speedline, lol. who would have known :-D.
Thought it might be nice to have some changeable centercaps for these. Still need to make one with a porsche logo .
I knew that They also made nearly all Alfa Romeo's alu's since God knows when, probably some few others too
