Runaway Diesel

As the title say. Can this thing will be added to the game? Because it helps the realism and I like to watch Runaway diesels.

 

i dont think any diesel in thegame is old enough to have this problem tho.

 

I don't know, even fairly recent cars can have the thing:


Then again, if one spawns two cars, floors throttle of one and tabs to other car, there is a runaway diesel, might need removal of rev limiter to get it to blow up of course.

 

Its a BMW anyways. Its kinda normal that they suffer failures.

Diesel Engine Runaway happens when you put oil which is too much liquid in a turbo diesel engine with high mileage (fortunaly it's not happening with all the Turbo Diesel engines).
I think it's hard to incorpore that into the game...

Well, I have a little idea. For the diesels in the game, if the engine is shaken too much or collided with something, then the oil leak started, or the mechanical fuel pump gets stuck and makes it runnnnnnnnn

 

I’d say the devs have some bigger realism related things to do before focusing on these smaller things.

 

A runaway in-game should only occur if the player has overheated the turbocharger or has endeavored serious system damage, I don't want my T-series running away without legitimate cause.

 

Yeah like you can already change the smoke to black and make it bigger but hell normal cars don’t do that, i mean hell yeah simulating that should be fun but driving around and suddenly my diesel does this?
