Where can I get good mods except from the beamNG site?

I've asked this question myself alot. I have seen people on youtube that have good quality sports cars such as Mclarens, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc. I have looked for places to download the cars of these brands on the beamNG website but can't find any. I've looked through some unofficial websites that have the mods but the mods from those sites are just garbage.

So what I want to know is if I can get some help finding the good websites (apart from the beamNG site) that have the mods that I'm looking for which are not bad in terms of quality.

In what videos did you see these cars? Mods for this game that depict supercars are usually pretty poor quality from what I've seen.

 

Well, there are some Russian websites, some are pretty much safe, some aren't. And mainly these mods are leaked, if you use them its somewhat a disrespect to modders that made them.
But there's a great supercar mod that isn't on forums, Pagani Huayra. It's fully jbeamed, working aero. Download is in desc in this vid:

I've seen them in some crash testing videos but that might describe that the cars used are in fact as you say poor quality.

If I were you, I wouldn’t. As a rule of thumb, you should only download mods from the official BeamNG website. Mods on other websites are usually crap, or the website isn’t that safe to use.

 

Mainly. Russian websites have leaked, and awful mods, the one I sent is on Russian websites as a leak from the video I sent, it's not Russian quality, its pretty high quality.

 

Just an okay jbeam doesn’t mean something is high quality, you could have the best jbeam in the world and have something crash like hot garbage due to a bad poly count. It may be high quality, I don’t know, but given that I haven’t seen it on these forums makes me skeptical. Plus, my point about the overall safety of the whole deal still stands.

Good arguments, not gonna say these aren't true.
The download was safe. (not on 3rd party webs where it was leaked)
And as you said, other websites aren't safe, and they aren't, I tried from Modsgaming, antivirus poped out with information that they stopped a virus.
And I understand, that you are skeptical to mods that aren't on the official websites, I'm skeptical to them too, but I knew google drive is pretty much safe, so I downloaded the pagani file, and loved the mod.
Overall, don't download from 3rd party websites.

 

Pretty much everything nowysen said is accurate, AVOID RUSSIAN MODS at all costs they are horrifically low quality and some of them have spyware in them if they ask you to install something else its spyware

And also some of the mods are stolen from other games I remember a Lotus 49 mod that appeared on this game and Kunos got in contact with the Beam Devs and asked them to remove it because it was stolen from Assetto Corsa, thats what can happen as well

Most of the sports car mods you see on BeamNG YouTube videos, private or not, are low-quality. Initially, they were referred to as clickbait mods, as YouTubers tend to feature high-end exotics on the thumbnails of their videos, all for the purpose of gaining views.

Nowadays, such low-effort mods are known as mesh-slaps. Anything you find on third-party websites are either low-quality or reuploaded from the forums, so avoid these external websites entirely.

If you want quality mods for the game, then the forums and the repository are the only places to go to. Sure, the overall quality varies from one mod to another, but it's up to you to decide what meets your expectations.
