I'm thinking of listing my SMT10 for sale. I'm just not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Granted I haven't put in the new motor to power the giant tires I just put on but even then it's just to big and cumbersome. Not sure what price I should start with as it does have some pricey upgrades.

So I've finally started to get parts for my budget monster truck. I'm basing it on a scx10 chassis. I'm think I'm going to go with the at racing lift kit for it and unless I find a better lift kit for the chassis. If anyone has any ideas or knows anything I can use that would be better id appreciate it

The only issue I see with them is being the smaller 1/12 scale, compared to a true 1/10 clod or SMT10, they are kinda small, like a wheely king,

Yeah. I've seen side by side pics of it next to other trucks. It's just about the same dimensions at the wheely king, way smaller than a Clod but with the same wheel base, and smaller than a SMT10. I don't particularly like the size of the SMT10, I'm more of a fan of the Stampede size so I'm still on the fence about getting it but pretty darn close. It just looks too cool and fun, though I also hear it has steering issues with the servo not returning the tires back to center after a turn.

I like the tires on the Hot Wheels one. Is that a gel pen you used?

I've been putting this together on my lunch at work but I got the chassis done for the most part now just to grab some axles, fourlinks, shocks and swaybars and hopefully I'll be looking good soon

Anybody getting the new SMT10? I have the old one and it's getting to be a lot of fun now that other people can buy it again.

I don't have a scale monster truck but I have one of these. Ordered a black aluminum chassis for it the other day.
