Need Help

1. How do I cancel the slow mo cam that keeps on activating whenever I crash?
2. How do I stop the cinmatic cam from happening each time I crash? Just want a normal rear chase cam which I can freely turn myself
3. My cars wont rev up past 3000. I am driving automatic
4. Some campaign matches has this weird orbital camera you have to drive the course with, how do I change it to normal cam?

 

Those issues seem odd. Have you tried clearing cache atleast to see if that will help? If not, you could throw out all the mods you have & run the game in safe mode. If that doesn't help, then I guess a reinstall will be necessary

 

I have no mods. Literally installed the game yesterday

 

I would uninstall and reinstall the game. I've never heard of these issues. If that doesn't work, then I don't know how to fix the problems. Might have to contact support and have them help you out.

 

Several missions in Senseless Destruction have to be done in cinematic cam, that's the challenge of them. I believe all of them automatically enter slow motion at a point too. If any of that is happening regularly in freeroam then something got very messed up. Are your controls bound weird and you are accidentally activating something? You can see and rebind the controls in the options menu. Other than that, verify game files to see if steam didn't install something properly.

 

I never did try Free Roam, only Campaign missions. Did not mention this cause did not thought it would make a diff. Will do Free Roam and see how the cam is there.

So there is no way in changing cam in Campaign and how it responds?

 

In Senseless Destruction those missions which require Cinematic Cam should not allow you to change the camera. I'm not sure about the other missions in that campaign. There is one official scenario that is in the same situation (cinematic chase). The other scenarios and campaigns you should be able to change to orbital or first person, I'm not sure about other camera modes.

There's a fair number of camera options in game, you can go into settings and disable/rearrange the order of them in the camera cycle. For example, if you only use orbital and first person you can uncheck all the other camera modes so when you are in free roam and hit "change camera" you will only cycle through those two.

They really need to have some sorta tool tip for this, it seems to be a very common source of confusion.

So if you're only playing the Senseless Destruction campaign then points 1/2/4 all sound like intentional behavior, but not point 3. Can you give any more details about this issue? Your controls, car/scenario this issue takes place in, etc...
