in one of the hotfixes, there was a "roamer2.zip" folder, and it had a .dae file with an updated front inner fender structure, and slightly more tweaked side shape.

You're probably right and I'm just unobservant, but I saw the 404 page a bunch of times the other day (due to groups being deleted) and I could have sworn there were no images on the page.

They're still accessible, you just have to know where to look.

I think the new car shouldn't be on from before the 2000s We need more newer cars in my opinion. Something resembling the Mazda range like the RX-8 or the Mazda3 models. Also would give them the chance to introduce a new car company in game. But I definitely think that the RX-8 equivalent so that rotary engines can be implemented if they haven't been already but to my knowledge they haven't.

Any Mazda clone I could think of could fit fine in well in the Hirochi lineup, no need for a new conpany. Filling in existing lineups is important, I would rather have a small number of companys that feel like they have a story (like how Gavril RS and Marshall nameplates have one going) rather than a bunch of one car brands like Civetta (unless we get reason to believe that Civetta wasn't around for very long, which I think would be funny but doubt because of that Civetta easter egg in Italy).

Filling out the company lore and the additional customization parts is why I really want to see more from the luxury marques. A Soliad Moonhawk for example would be great. Put some of that weird pointy bodywork on which Pontiac loved in that era.

Brands I would consider necessary to add would obviously be for any new countries and maybe a third Italain brand actually, though it's hard to tell what would and would not fit in Civetta and Autobello's lineup since they only have one car. Another German brand might be necessary too. Any Audi/BMW/Mercades would fit well in ETK, but I couldn't see many VW/Porsche/Opel fitting in their lineup.

TLDR: I think it would be healthier to avoid new brands except for new countries and maybe Germany and Italy since both countries made real cars that might not fit in ETK/Civetta/Autobello. Luxury marques we have could use some attention.

I do agree with you but what you have mentioned about Porsche, VW and Opel (Or Vauxhaull in my country) I think that a sports borderline supercar would be a great addition for the people that like both luxury and speed, such as a Lamborghini or as you said Porsce with the 918 spyder or the 911 GT3. That'd be pretty neat.

I am a Canadian and I have never heard of Vauxhaull until recently, so could you please elaborate on that part of it?

    Left: Opel
    Right: Vauxhall

Both cars will be slightly different trim levels which will explain most differences. Really, the only change is the badge. All Vauxhalls can be found on the continent as Opels, not all Opels are available in the UK under the Vauxhall badge.

I know that Opel is Vauxhaull but I don't know what Opel is. Is it one of those companies that just re badges GM cars?

They used to be owned by GM. So they did have some models that were badged as Chevrolets, Holdens, and Buicks depending on the market (south america, austral asia, and china etc).

However, they are currently owned by PSA (Peugeot), so new models are based on peugeots platforms rather than GM's.

So both the cars below are on the same platform

You just compared two brands that don't sell cars in Canada to a third one that doesn't sell cars in Canada.

Opel didn't just "rebadge", they used to design and engineer most of the small/medium vehicles for the whole GM group. Like, well-known GM platforms like the first T Platform (Chevette) or, more recently, GM Epsilon I and II (last few generations of the Chevy Malibu) were all developed by Opel. Many GM cars were rebadged Opels, not the other way around. Latest Saturn range before shutdown was mostly constituted of rebadged Opels (Astras were even captive imports from EU)

Now that role is covered by GM Korea, formerly Daewoo. Chevrolet Cruze I and II, Spark, Sonic, Aveo were all Daewoo products. Some of their larger products were sold as Saturns or Holdens, joint development often spawned Opel and Daewoo/Chevrolet badged vehicles with little differences (Opel Antara/Chevrolet Captiva).

Well... stating who owns them and where there models are currently derived from is a pretty factual matter, not a comparison.

I know this kinda makes me a disgrace to the forums, but I don't know very much about cars. Although I do know a lot of brands, like Holden is an Australian car maker.

OT: What Beam is really missing is a modern crossover, and I wouldn't doubt if something similar comes soon.
