Will you also add things like guardrails and trees in certain areas or will you keep it completely bland?
It will stay like that. I just updated it to work with the current version of the game. Edit - Might just add stuff for AI later on.
ok first of all, no, ai would take too long because it would be one point for several miles and two whats the name of the map that looks like this but has no walls?
i dont remember realy whell if the spedometer said 30 or 300 because it was a base and it seemed realy fast maby the game was becoming unstable beacause of some things i was doing bofor oh and im very sory that i am proboly the worst at spelling im the history of beamng
I'd love to see this made into a long oval, with the corners open enough that the cars wouldn't go over the top of the curved edges despite the cars not steering. You could set the cars off with up arrow and TAB and they'd just keep going round doing laps for hours. It would truely be a endless highway then. I've had fun making very long drag races on this. Excellent work.
Why don't you check out some of my maps, there's Nevada Interstate, and So-Cal Interstate, that both have looping highways, and Roane County with lots and lots of miles of roads based on real terrain (can be a bear to run in spots). Start with Nevada.
For sure. I've seen some of the mods you've done on the forums. Its really great work you've done. I've had a try at making a map but I just don't have the knowhow or patience, so I really appreciate anyone that makes mods for BeamNG (or any game for that matter). I'll be definitely checking out more of your maps.
Mapping for this game isn't for everybody that is for darn sure. I can say from experience. You have to have a Lorry full of patience, and then another shipment of it on the way otherwise you'll have two broken fists and a mangled PC tower. So yeah, thanks, appreciated, I try to make decent highways here for this game. It's quite fun. American Road map is also off to a good start with a long fast highway to itself along with lots of other roads so give it a look too if you have a good enough PC.
The post you replied to is more than 2 years old, and I believe that map is outdated. I may be wrong though.
