I believe the devs should focus on mundane but customizable vehicles that fit in both at a tuning shop and at a red light.

This list sums up what I'm talking about. This list is international too, as you'll see a Toyota Yaris not only in the US, but in Italy and such places too.
(I'd also like to shed come light on the two vehciles on the list aligned with a "UK" update- the UK and Australia are two major locations we're missing in this game.)

I speculate the next car will have 4 wheels.

Oww, my brain cells. I'd try and do a rebuttal, but my brain cells hurt too much, and @SuperAusten64 is already doing a magnificent job.

That's pretty much common knowledge. It's rare for anyone to think that. It's only made worse by the fact that in this day in age, you really don't know which politicians truly cares about their people, and which ones do not, all thanks to their frequent shouting back and forth, and no thanks to the media either. You basically have to do research to find out which medias are telling the truth and which ones are flat out lying, and even then, cognitive bias can hinder the conclusions of that research. We truly live in what Tears for Fears described as a "Mad World."

I can believe why people take them seriously.

The spotty output is probably why you see them built in groups a lot of times. It's not a surprise. Even something like Cities: Skylines takes that into account.

It's very unfortunate that wildlife is killed by them, no doubt about that. I guess that's one reason to consider solar panels instead of turbines in certain scenarios, since they're flat, don't have spinning blades, and gets their power from absorbing sunlight.
Honestly, when it comes to a prewar car, I'd love to something akin to the 1934 Ford, though that's probably the same thing as the 1932 Ford others have mentioned, just only two years apart.

Typically, I've always read it that people recognized the Pontiac GTO as the first true muscle car or something like that. I never fully understood where they get that though, considering what you say here.

I'd also mention the Oldsmobile Rocket 88 and the Rambler Rebel alongside the ones you mentioned. Would the Hudson Hornet and the Studebaker Golden Hawk count too?

Be careful, you never know if it's going to have 10,000 wheels or no wheels. /joke

a bit of a discourse here, but i wonder how soon the t-series will be getting refreshed? it's very distinctly lacking in engine/transmission choices and custom variants. the engine's 3d model is extremely basic as well. i feel it needs to be reworked almost as much the bolide. i mean seriously; a semi truck with less engine options than the pigeon. it's a bit absurd.

also, my knowledge on these trucks is very limited, but doesn't it rev a bit high? modern trucks have similar redlines to the t-series, and it is from the early 80s. i may be wrong though, i guess chemically diesel fuel doesn't really change that much.

I really doubt this is anywhere in the horizon at all, however, assuming that the Devs are going to revamp cars how they where added into the game, it should be next after the Moonhawk.

The Grand Marshal was revamped before the D-Series, which was the first vehicle in BeamNG.

The Moonhawk was remodeled two updates ago.

However, I think its remodeling was a step in the wrong direction. Similar real-life cars of the era were more slab-sided and had sharp corners:

Meanwhile, the rear corners of the Moonhawk are extremely rounded:

In fact, the overall shape of the car is too round (in my opinion):

And finally, the rear wheel arches jut out ridiculously far:

I couldn't see this being a sedan, whereas the cars this was based on did have sedan models, and there was a mod for the old Moonhawk that made a perfectly believable sedan.

I can see the Moonhawk being a sedan just fine, and I'd be pretty happy if the devs did consider giving the Moonhawk at least that, as a station wagon would be another one I'd love to see. Both would help make the car more unique, and give us more body styles, something I think the game would benefit a lot from.

The Moonhawk really needs a sedan (and maybe a wagon) variant. Not sure about others but I would definitely use the Moonhawk more if it had a sedan variant.

I'd love to see an official sedan, or at least see the old mod (which included a ute and a wagon as well) make a return (unlikely, since the creator is inactive I think). I just think the current Moonhawk is too round even for coupes of the era, and would look weird as a sedan. If it was remodeled to be more rectangular (unlikely) or the old design made a return (even more unlikely) then I'd be all for it happening.

It's certainly confused me as to what it wants to be, personal luxury car or malaise muscle. Putting it on that diet made it look a lot more sporty and less luxurious. It would be cool to get a luxurious Soliad corperate cousin.

I still say the Moonhawk needs a lot of body styles:

    Coupe: Already have
Sedan: Recource efficient way of getting a 1970's American sedan in game. Another iconic car which would be a great Belasco PD vehicle.
Wagon: Muscle wagons are just cool.
Ute: We only have one pickup right now, having a second pickup, especially a small one, would be a nice alternative choice to the D15.

Putting these in as alternate body styles instead of on a new platform would save a lot of recources compared to making a completely new car for each of these.

The late 60's/early 70's A-bodys came in a ton of body styles, so adding some variations in pillars and number of doors of these would make sense, although it would get messy quick.

Yes the reflections are broken, but last I checked everything else still works because it's a separate vehicle.

Okay I might get some hate for this, but I think what BeamNG is missing is a crossover, yes I know many people have suggested a modern SUV and stuff but what I think the game needs is a midsize SUV, The sort that the family can afford and the top trim powered by an inline 4 turbo. Mildly good offroad but easily struggles. P.S I know this isn't a suggestion thread

    Ideas:

    Hirochi suv-

    Engines-2.0-4 cylinder turbo engine-AWD, 2.5-4 cylinder diesel na-AWD

    Years produced 2012-2018

    Etk Suv-

    Engine-2.0-4 cylinder Na-AWD, 1.5 turbodiesel-FWD

    years produced 2008-2013

    Unknown Brand Suv-(Japanese, German, French)

    Engine-1.4-4 cylinder Turbo(CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)-FWD,2.0 Turbocharged 4 cylinder(CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)-AWD,2.5 NA 4 cylinder-AWD,2.0 twincharged-4 cylinder(CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)-Awd,1.8-3 cylinder Na

    years produced 2017-today

I think the game really needs some form of midsize modern Suv

Wasn't that kind of the thing with some 70's cars like it? Some kind of blend of both muscle and personal luxury, but debatable if it even succeeded. That's sorta how I feel about the Cordoba based fourth generation Dodge Charger. It has the name of a muscle car, it has muscle variants, but it's mostly a personal luxury car, and shouldn't even carry the Charger name. Calling it Dodge Cordoba would've been just fine.

A lot of police departments did use cars a lot like the ones the Moonhawk is based on, so it makes sense for it to have a police variant.

Plus, a police Moonhawk sedan would be perfect for recreating Bufford T. Justice's police car. That could even be a basis for the official skin.

If the ute got a RHD variant, it would finally give us something Aussie. I would hope that it would also get a LHD variant too, because Chevrolet El Camino and Ford Ranchero.

That's sorta what I was thinking.

Well, you're not wrong. A modern crossover would be nice. Both a modern CUV and a modern SUV being added would work, because there are aspects about CUVs that set them apart from SUVs.

Also your suggestions probably have a better chance of being seen here than they would in the Vehicle Suggestions thread. Unlike that thread, it's no secret that the staff pops in here, occasionally interacting with users.
