    Looks like you changed your Gamma setting to something wrong.
    Go to Options > Graphics, and reset the Gamma slider. If it's already at default, try to move it a bit and reset it again.

    Good call! Gamma was at 0.11! What happened was, after changing screen resolution (with Beam in borderless window mode) it came up with the the mouse action not matching the mouse pointer. I had to click around at random just to back out of the options screen and exit. So what must have happened was I clicked the gamma slider. Anyway it's all good now!
