I'm having 2 different issues with the textures here.
I originally duplicated all the files of the bolide, and used "find in files" to change out all instances of "super" to "burrasca", so there's likely no issues in regards to that.
the First issue, the sides of the bonnet, and a few other parts are black, and have an orange reflection, so it's using a "no material" texture for something. these parts I did duplicate, (the stripes on the bonnet were parts I moved from the fenders to the hood mesh)
other parts of the car, mainly the actual body, still respond to the paint settings (changing colour/chrominess), but have the material settings messed up in some way, as the chrominess is always a bit less than is should be (in this case, appearing redder/more saturated than the front panels), and they also have the aforementioned orange reflections.
I've attached a picture in hope of showing it better, with an unmodded bolide beside for comparison.

any ideas of what could be messed up?

Ok, so after doing a bit of editing to the body mesh, as well as re-doing the edge split, that fixed the chrominess, so now the body matches the rest of the panels.

I've still got the issues with the orange reflections, and the black parts on the bonnet where I transferred them from the fenders, has anyone got any Ideas?

Did you rename all .dds texture files in the duplicated folder? "super_d" to "burrasca_d," etc.? Because if you used find and replace for "super" and not "/super/" in the materials file, then it'll replace every instance of the word, including names of texture files.

yes, I renamed all instances in all the files using the phrase "super", and also renamed all the texture/dae/jbeam/json etc. files to "burrasca_d" etc.
