Does anyone know how to subscribe to a mod if you don’t have the game but you do have an account on the websites, because I’m trying to find some mods for when I purchase Beamng.Drive using my iPad, since my last 2 laptops broke within the space of 4 months (DON’T ASK HOW, I DON’T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED)and whenever I try to subscribe to a mod it doesn’t work. Do I need to have a laptop to subscribe or what? Please someone tell me! Thanks!
Subscribing means downloading the mod without having to move the physical mod file to the folder. Yes, you need to subscribe to the mod on a device that has beamng, otherwise, subscribe method cant open beamng and download it through the in game repo.
Thanks. Dammit, that means I’ll have to wait until I get a new laptop in a few months. *sighs with annoyance*
you can also go to the beamng.com/resources page, and manually download them from there. then you can copy the .zip folders over to your computer.
Too much extra work. Download it on an iPad, connect to a pc, find the file which can be hard, transfer it over.
The Subscribe button requires you to have the game installed on that PC. The Subscribe button launches the game, and the 'subscription' (download + adding this to your list) happens inside the game. If you are using an iPad, there's nothing to launch. Also, you could just bookmark the mods you want, and then get to them later when you get your PC.
