Turn AI off please.....

The secret to BeamNG's success is the users ability to create and set up complex and amazing crash scenes, I used to be able to spawn a car, go to the AI controls, select SPAN, set a speed limit of 100mph and the car would go, and crash into the on coming vehicles, but now the cars always avoid each other, the AI avoids the crash, we need the ability to turn off or disable AI crash avoidance, please help! I know I can press F10 go to script manager and record each cars path but this is soooo time consuming.

On the video above the level SSRB, span works fine, no AI crash avoidance, but on most other levels they avoid each other????

 

use the traffic app
hit 'turn off AI awareness'
that should solve your issue.

 

I tried that, I see 2 different "Traffic App's" I have tried both, I check the dis-able AI box, but vehicles still avoid each other, I also tried it thru the Radial Menu AI settings, Stop AI, but still no luck....frustrating!

 

im going to be honest, and this may have been said before, but here I go:
all modes having awareness ruins a major part of this game for me. I love doing police chases, and setting all of the cars to ai. where I could usually have high speed chases with cops ramming the back of the suspect, I now have disappointing chases with cops to busy avoiding hitting the suspect, and crashing because of it (this also goes for random racing). I always found it cool to see a cop car wrecking and damaging the suspect, and later coming back for the final blow. now they slow down so much that the suspect can flee, and they don't properly hit the suspect.
I would love to either have a button on a menu to turn awareness off (traffic is fine) or have a button on the ai app (not the traffic one) to turn awareness on or off per car. if I could turn awareness off I could have cool chases again. so if awareness could be toggleable or off on the chase and flee setting that would be awesome, of maybe have an aggressive chase option so that doesn't have awareness. as it is now I cant do the things that made me love this game.

I, for one am very happy that we are having issues with traffic, because it implies that there is work being done on AI. Pre-awareness AI was brilliant at finding new, innovative ways to make really stupid decisions. at least now, the AI is trying to not hit things. Traffic is only going to improve from here if you ask me.
