So im working on an engine swap for a car and i was wondering if its possible to remove the mesh for all the extras around the engine specifically the mesh that contains the wires battery etc.

for reference my filter is clipping through the mesh that im trying to get rid of so i can make a new one for this engine

Sorry if this is a dumb or obvious question but ive been teaching myself all this in the past week so im very new to all of this. Thanks in advance.

go into blender and delete the filter vertices or adjust the size/ orientation in blender so it fits in the engine bay.
    seriously?
He asked for help and you ask for a 200BX with an I6 thats not finished yet?
Thats like me getting my fingers stuck in one of those stupid tables with the metal grates and you asking for my wallet to go by a Lemon Spiked Mountain Dew that i was gonna by for myself lol

Those are all in "engine_bay_crap" mesh and in base game vehicles they're used in the body.jbeam. to remove the mesh for your swap you will have to duplicate and rename the body, so you will be able to remove the mesh without overwriting base game files.
