I have recently acquired a ASUS G50V.I'm trying to update it to windows 7. I know nothing about computers and have just got my first laptop. Here are the specs https://www.anandtech.com/show/2649/3 PS, I will not be replying until 5:30 pm Eastern time.

I doubt it will work as CPU is slower than the most basic i3 (i3-530) and the GPU it MUCH slower than the GTX550Ti that is noted in Minimal Requirements. 4GB RAM is enough but DDR2 is old and even the i3-530 runs with DDR3. I ran BeamNG with i5-2500k and GTX550Ti and trust me, it was really bad.
But I never had that hardware so I can just speculate.

I think the game might boot on that. I also think you would be pretty limited as far as framerate. with a dual core cpu, I think you will be lucky to get 10 fps on gridmap. You can try it, but I would consider the game fairly unplayable at that point.

It’s nowhere near good, but I guess you could. I wouldn’t expect a superb gaming experience, but I’ve had specs worse than that that have booted the game, albeit running at a mere 2 FPS. I guess you could give it a shot, but make yourself familiar with the Steam refund policy first.
