Got a taxi, LTi Fairway 1994 and the radiator has a hole in it, the engine is not great either lots of problems with it but its fun to drive on private land (and we will put cooking oil in it eventually too) .. but the cooling fan and radiator do not work, the radiator has a hole in it and all coolant will be out of it in about 10 minutes If this were to be fixed, could i forgo replacing the radiator fan, given it will be winter, and just try and get the interior heater to work? Just blast that on full heat, will that take the strain? Flat out the taxi does around 20mph, black smoke coming out the back too, but it's cool to drive a taxi round. The headgasket we didn't do any good to it driving with a hole in the rad, but the exhaust is rather clear no steam or anything disasterous, only diesel smoke. Any ideas to get this engine going a bit quicker?
The interior heater will be plumbed into the main coolant loop anyway, if it loses coolant, it loses the heater
