Both planes had a tragic ending, on October 31st, 1999, the 767 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean killing all 217 after takeoff from JFK International Airport) and on July 25th,2000, the Concorde crashed outside Paris killing all 109 on board and 4 on the ground, including engineer Jardinaud.

    The Near miss was caused by ATC Error accidently telling MS 224 to land on Runway 27L instead of 27R.

    Backstory information:
    Warner Brothers Entertainment INC Started filming "The Hong Kong Job" back in November of 1993, in the movie Notorious Criminal duo Lucas Allen (Played by Barry Goodman) and Daniel Harding (Played by Christopher "Chris" Andereasen) are assigned to commit a heist at the Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong in revenge of Martin Riley (Played by Matthew Modine), The CEO of Hang Seng Bank who embezzled from Allen's organization a year prior,Most of the film was shot in Hong Kong and Osaka,Japan while the beginning shot was filmed in Los Angeles,United States,



    Victims Information:

    Barry Goodman was born on August 23rd,1961 in Colorado Springs,Colorado,United States, His is the youngest cousin of Actor John Goodman, He studied acting at Arizona University He made his acting debut in 1982 staring in The Dark Skies a made for TV Slasher-Comedy as a Blockbuster Employee, at the time of his death he played in 8 movies and 2 TV Shows, at the time of his death he was scheduled to marry Emily Danner, The Sister of Actress Blythe Danner


    Christopher "Chris" Andereasen was born on December 4th,1964 in Modesto,California,United States, he studied acting at University of California,Berkeley and made his acting debut in 1985 in The Boy of the Way a Drama-Tragedy as a homeless man, at the time of his death he played in 6 movies, he married two weeks prior to his death, Surprisingly while playing in the 1990 Film Lockerbie, a Documentary about Pan Am 103, he almost was killed when a piece of metal struck him in the left side of his forehead, leaving a huge scar.


    Day of accident:

    Conditions were nice on the day of the crash in Hong Kong and was a good day for flying



    Flight:

    There's a scene in The Hong Kong Job where Both Allen and Harding jump on the top of the Hang Seng Tower in Hong Kong and break into the vault by jumping from a helicopter,

    The Helicopter in question was a 6 year old Bell 206, registered as N-1720, The Pilot controlling the Bell was 31 year old Hiroaki Okamoto from Hiroshima,Japan with 560 Hours (Including 250 Hours on the Bell 206) he flew with Helicopters for 4 years. the passengers were Goodman,Andereasen and two stunt doubles, Chad Hanning,34 (Goodman's Double) and Kevin Barker,35 (Andereasen's Double) and Camerawoman Eloise Rodriquez,28 but while filming the scene, the Bell struck the side of the Bank and fell while breaking up and crashed into a filming crew on the ground, all 6 on board, a Canadian camerawoman named Erin Lopez,25 and a South Korean Tourist Pong Soo-jim,19 were killed on scene, Pong's boyfriend Nae Duck-Young died in hospital on April 21st, 8 Crew and 3 other civilians were injured (1 Crew member Conner Poythress had minor injuries from falling while running away from the scene)

    Warner Brothers was sued by The families of the killed victims after a 2 month battle, Warners Brothers won the case since the crash was proven to be the fault of the pilot, not the studio,


    After a 3 month delay of the film, The Hong Kong Job was released on October 24th of 1994, earning $4.2M at the box office and has a good reception with a 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 5.9 on IMDB, The Film is in Memory of both Goodman and Andereasen. (The rest of the film had two doubleganger crew of both actors for the rest of the movie)

    On February 2nd,1986, Northwest Airlink flight 480 is flying over St.Clair County,Alabama,United States, the flight's destination is Memphis International Airport in Tennessee, the plane is a 2 month old Cessna 208 Caravan, Registered C-SHIA, On board is 1 Pilot Lindsay Klar,29 with 88 Hours (Including 40 Hours with Northwest and 8 Hours on Cessna 208 Caravans) on board are 8 passengers, all were residents of Memphis returning home, Also flying in St.Clair County is N46344, A 28 Year old Cessna 172 Skyhawk owned by the St.Clair County Flight School, The Flight Originated at St.Clair Airfield near Wattsville, On board are two crew, Pilot Tim Gaskins,17 who has been studying at the Flight School for 4 Months (At the time of incident) and Instructor Rhett Willis,40, who been instructing at the Flight School for 9 Years and one of the most experienced of the instructors, while in the air, the Cessna 208's right landing gear struck the windshield of the Cessna 172 shattering it and injuring Gaskins, Northwest Airlink 480, loses control and crashes head on into the ground, killing all 9 people, The Cessna 172 made an emergency landing at St.Clair Airfield, The Cessna 172's windshield was replaced 2 weeks after the accident,

    Due to lack of communication on both planes, the two planes collided into each other

    Gaskins became a pilot and worked for United Airlines from 1989-2004 and served for American Airlines from 2005-2012, Since 2013 he is serving with Hawaiian Airlines

The American Passenger injured was released from hospital three weeks later

    Captain Macdonald remained flying with British Airways until retiring in 2012 after 25 Years flying with them, he died from Type 2 diabetes in July of 2018

    First Officer Richardson remained flying with British Airways until retiring in 2001 after 9 years flying with Them,

    Engineer Walker remained flying with British Airways until 2007 after serving 13 years with Them, he still serves with Aer Lingus as of 2008

    Captain Ermey was put on trial for manslaughter in 1997 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being proven guilty, According to Blackbox recordings he forgot to put on flaps and claimed to have no experience taking off at Kai Tak Airport, he was released in 2004 and currently resides in Ottawa



    Air Canada ended their 747 service in 2004, Air Canada still flies from Sydney to Toronto, with a stop in Vancouver but with a Boeing 777


    Kai Tak Airport closed in 1998 and was replaced with Hong Kong International Airport

    Air Star Museum Flight 2459
    On July 19th, 1970, Air Star Museum Flight 2459 departed from the Italy Airport at night time for a local sightseeing flight. The flight was being operated by a WW2 B-25 Mitchell aircraft that was owned by So Cal Stars Leasing LLC.
    About two minutes after takeoff, the plane entered a descending bank before impacting terrain while trying to make an emergency landing.
    All three cockpit crew members and six passengers perished. It was later determined that a failure in the number 1 engine (left engine) caused the attempted emergency landing.

    - Flight:
    The flight was scheduled to depart at around 9:30 PM, but due to faults in the operator's aircraft, the flight was delayed for 11:15 PM. Airport engineers said that the faults in the aircraft could take up a day to be dealt with. The operator decided to use one of their older machines, an early 1940s, WW2 era, North American B-25 Mitchell, registered N31953L.
    The planned number of passengers were eight, but due to the delay, one of the local tourists that planned for an early morning flight decided to board the flight.
    The aircraft was cleared to taxi at 11:31 PM. No problems were noted during the takeoff and there were no distress calls from the plane.
    At around 11:33 PM, the crew sent three mayday calls to the tower and requested to return, but the plane disappeared from ATC screens soon after.
    The pilots were trying to land in an open farm field when the plane struck walls and a tree before catching fire. Emergency services were on the scene shortly after, one passenger seated in the back initially survived, but he passed away two days later due to the injures sustained in the crash.





    Investigation:
    The NTSB sent a team to help Italian Investigators to determine what caused the crash. The following day, Italian Investigators agreed to give the NTSB full charge of the investigation.
    The investigators arrived the following day, the wreckage was removed to a secure location near the airport, some parts were sent to WA for more detailed analysis.
    A Preliminary report was released one week after the accident. The final report was released one year and two months after the accident.

    - History of the Flight:

    - Preliminary Report:

    On July 19th, 1970, at around 1633 Eastern Standard Time, Air Star Museum Flight 2459, a North American B-25 Mitchell, N31953L, impacted terrain and a tree during an attempted force landing shortly after takeoff following a loss of engine power in the left engine in Italy. The two pilots, navigator, and six passengers were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed by impact forces and post crash fire. No flight plan was filed for the aerial photo flight that departed Italy Airport. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight that was conducted under 14 Code of Federal Regulation Part 91
    The ATC reported that the crew sent three mayday calls shortly after takeoff. The plane then disappeared from ATC screens. Several witnesses reported seeing the aircraft in a steep left descend with the landing gears down.

    The aircraft touched down in a farm field near a road intersection, traveled at high speed, striking stone walls that were surrounding the field before impacting a tree. A post crash fire ensued. (Figure 1)
    All components of the airframe and the engine were located at the accident site. The wreckage was relocated to a secured facility for further examination.

    - History of the Flight:
    The multi-seat WW2 era aircraft departed at 11:31 PM from Italy Airport on a local sightseeing flight. No problems were noted in the departure. The crew started to climb to the right. At 11:33 PM, ATC at Italy Airport received three Mayday calls, the pilots of the plane reported a failure in one of the engines and that they wanted to return. The plane was seen on a descending left bank with the landing gears down and the flaps set in the landing position. The plane struck stone walls and terrain before bursting into flames. The three crew members and six passengers were fatally injured.

    An examination of the number left engine (number 1) revealed that the failure was caused by fatigue cracking between the No. 5 and No. 6 cheeks. The cracking pattern suggested that numerous overstress conditions of relatively short durations acted to initiate the fatigue cracks, but the cause for this overstress could not be determined.

    - Probable Cause:
    • A loss of engine power in the left engine due to metal fatigue during a critical phase of the flight. The exact cause of the metal fatigue could not be determined.

The Pilots decide to contact Air France Headquarters about the attacks to inform about the intense security at JFK, one of the messages contains the words "Mayday", That messages doesn't immediately raises red flags, However at 9:55,ARINC a company that airlines pay to transmit text messages to and from their flights,spots the word "Mayday" sent by the pilots, concerned about the message,ARINC sends to messages to Air France and the FAA, Air France and The FAA suspects the flight has been hijacked and The FAA contacts the U.S Navy about the message, at 10:00, The U.S Navy sends a Lockheed Martin Lightning II and a Boeing F/A-18 from the USS George Washington, Flight 1952 shows its next sign of possibly being hijacked when the aircraft starts turning into odd directions, ATC Contact from the USS George Washington asks Flight 1952 about their status, The ATC orders the Plane to change their status code to 7500, The Universal signal of a Hijacking in case they didn't have been hijacked, the pilots would react to this effect, at 10:05 AM, Captain Barthélemy changes the plane's transponder to 7500, Worried about an attack, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani orders the evacuation of The Empire State Building,Chrysler Building and tourist areas, At 10:10 AM, The U.S Navy Fighter jets catch up to and trail Flight 1952 at 28,230 Feet (860.4 Centimeters) This causes the passengers to panic and start staring at their windows while others fear the worse. At 10:12 The U.S Navy announces that they will shoot down Flight 1952 before it can reach New York City unless it diverts to Boston Logan International Airport. After a conversation with the USS George Washington, The Pilots reluctantly agree to divert to Boston,

    Landing,Investigation and aftermath:

    At 10:38 AM, Air France Flight 1952 emergancy lands at Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts,United States, The FBI and Boston Police surrounded the plane and ordered all occupants to immediately leave the plane with their hands up, One German passenger said "It was like we were surrendered soldiers surrounded by the enemy" Two Turkish Passengers, a Greek Passenger, a Egyptian Passenger, a Jordanian Passenger and 4 Algerians were arrested because they were assumed to be hijackers due to all of them being Muslim. The remaining Passengers and all 10 Flight Attendants were not allowed to leave the airport for 2 and a half hours and the airport was put on lockdown. The Four Cockpit Crew and Purser De Verley were brought to the Boston Police Department's headquarters and questioned in a interrogation room. The suspected hijackers were all questions one by one at the airport in the airport's storage room. According to a Algerian passenger, the FBI Agents and Boston Police Officers began to be aggressive towards him and threatened to taze him or bash him into the wall believing he was lying and was intended to hijack the flight and called him a "Terrorist". At the Boston Police Headquarters, all 9 suspects were put in a lineup in front of the Pilots and Purser De Verley. All the suspects were written off after the pilots claimed they never entered the cockpit. De Verley also claimed they were remained in their seats the entire flight and were polite. He also recalled the Jordanian passenger ordering a cup of Coffee from Stewardess Regnard and appeared patient and polite. The FBI randomly picked 5 passengers of the flight (consisting of 2 French, 1 American,1 Dutch and 1 Italian) were asked if the suspects did anything suspicious, the passengers claimed they saw nothing suspicious of the passengers the entire flight. The FBI and Boston Police learned the whole incident was a misunderstanding. The Nine passengers that were ruled as suspects were released on September 28th with apologizes from the FBI and Boston Police. The Passengers were later put on Buses and a Amtrak Train to New York. Captain Barthélemy claimed he was ordered by ATC to change the transponder code and ATC doing so. The Order to Squak 7500 was made by ATC expecting if the flight was not hijacked the pilots would react to the effect,instead they complied to the orders made by ATC which caused ATC to believed they were hijacked, Purser De Verley claimed their was no conflict with the passengers the entire flight and the passengers were well respectful and behaved. The Entire 747 was searched by the FBI,Boston Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,Weapons and Explosives (ATWE) for a total of two days but nothing suspicious was found, On September 28th the FBI announced that Flight 1952 was never hijacked, Air France stated the "Mayday" message was innocent, The Mayday message was talking about the Mayday calls of the flights hijacked on 9/11. The Reason Captain Barthélemy changed the Flight Signal isn't known. The United States claimed the false alarm on "Muddled communications between ATC and the Crew of the Flight" but Air France claims that Captain Barthélemy "Believed he was forced by ATC to send out the hijack signal" , One Spokesman for Air France said "Our Captain of that flight was obeying instructions given by The U.S Navy ATC to squawk Code 7500, He just realized the situation was serious"


    What would have happened if the plane was shot down:

    If the pilots of the fighter jets did shoot the Flight 1952 down, it would have caused the plane to either break apart into pieces or Burst into flames at 28,230 Feet in the air. The Fighter planes were aiming for the back of the plane which would probably meant that the plane would desegregate when the plane plummets to Atlantic Ocean. Another possibility would have been the Fuel Tanks would have been punctured and cause the plane to go into a inferno frying at least all the passengers and Flight Attendants in Economy and First Class in front of the plane, and eventually the passengers in the top deck. The only survivors of the explosion would probably have been the cockpit crew due to the door being locked and closed. The Wreckage could have scattered for miles in the Atlantic Ocean.Many of the passengers bodies/remains would not be found at the wreckage site since many of the passengers were unbuckled from their seatbelts and a majority of the passengers would have flown of the 747 after it was shot down. Only a few bodies or Body Parts would remain due to the either the victims being either sunk to the bottom of the Ocean or Burned to death in the explosion. The Crash Impact with the ocean would be unsurvivable if anyone survived the initial missile impact or fire. If all 420 People on board were killed, it would have surpassed The 1996 Charkhi Dadri Mid Air Collision to be the third deadliest accident in Aviation History, the deadliest Aviation Accident with no survivors and the third deadliest accident involving the Boeing 747. It would have surpassed Turkish Airlines Flight 981 to be the deadliest Single Aircraft aviation accident with no survivors. It would have surpassed American Airlines Flight 191 to be the deadliest aviation accident in the United States History. It would have surpassed Iran Air Flight 655 to be the deadliest Commercial Aircraft Shootdown in History.It would have been the Deadliest Crash for Air France since the Crash of Flight 007, in 1962 that killed 130 of the 132 on board. it would have surpassed Singapore Airlines Flight 006 to be the deadliest accident involving the Boeing 747-400 type.It would have changed France's view on the United States since most of the people on board were French. The Shootdown would have made the United States Navy some severe criticism and controversy. The Shootdown would made a negative decrease of international flights to the United States.

    The Plane involved, F-GITF continued to serve with Air France until 2015 and was scrapped, Air France no longer uses Flight 1952 but still flies from Charles de Gaulle to JFK International as flight 22 using a Boeing 777.

    Captain Barthélemy continued serving with Air France until retiring in May of 2014 at age 62. He currently resides in Paris.

    First Officer Wackernagel continued serving with Air France until April of 2003 when he and joined Swiss International Airlines in May of the same year. He flew with them until November of 2019. He currently resides in his hometown, Geneva

    Relief Captain Valiancourt continued serving with Air France until retiring in May of 2015 at age 64, he died from a heart attack on December 11th,2017 at age 66

    Relief First Officer Mossé continues serving with Air France as a Captain as of January 2019. He is scheduled to retire in 2021.

    Nevada Aviation Airways Flight 9518 was a scheduled cargo flight from the So Cal Nevada Interstate Airport to Salt Lake International. On May 2, 1989, the flight was operated using an Antonov An-12B, registration N58BG, when it crashed into a hill when the aircraft ran out of fuel in Utah USA.     - History of the Flight:
    On May 2nd, 1989, an Antonov An-12B, registered N58BG, impacted terrain in Utah, USA. The four crew members sustained fatal injures and the aircraft was destroyed. The aircraft was owned and operated by Nevada Aviation Airways. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 121 domestic cargo flight, which originated from So Cal Nevada Interstate Airfiled, Nevada, and was destined for Salt Lake International, Utah.

    The ATC reported to the IIC that the crew reported that they've lost fuel and were trying to make an emergency landing. There were no further messages and emergency services were called.

    An on scene examination determined that all components of the airframe and the engine were located at the accident site. The cockpit and mid section were highly fragmented. The tail section and control surfaces sustained heavy impact damage.

    The aircraft was equipped with a cockpit voice recorder, but there wasn't a flight data recorder. An on scene examination of the airframe and engines revealed that there were no failures or malfunctions that could have effected normal operation of the flight.

    It was determined that the fuel onboard was enough for a 1:30 hour flight. The flight from So Cal to Utah need two hours as stated in the company's operation plans.

    - Cause:
    • The flight crew's failure to ensure an adequate fuel supply for the flight, which led to the stoppage of all four engines due to fuel exhaustion. Contributing to the accident were the flight crew's failure to monitor the airplane's fuel state and the flight crew's failure to maintain directional control after the initial engine stoppage.

On board are 21 Passengers, All of them on a expedition group to Mount Everest. While landing the pilots are trying to correct the Plane's altitude to land. The ATR 72 crashes 755 Feet from Runway 06, on impact both pilots and 7 Passengers were killed, two Nepalese Passengers died on May 26th while an Indian Passenger died from his injuries on July 5th, Stewardess Ayyar and 11 Passengers survived, She and 7 of those passengers suffered from various injuries

    On November 10th,1988 at 4:48 AM, Federal Express Flight 1147 is flying over Puerto Rico bound for Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, The Flight originated at Memphis International Airport in Tennessee and had a stopover at Miami International Airport in Florida, The Plane is a 25 Year Old Boeing 727-200F, Registered as N211FE, It first operated for Eastern Airlines from 1964 to 1975, then served with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) from 1975-1981 and was bought and converted into a freighter by Federal Express in 1982, On board are 2 Crew, Captain Casey Thompson,55 with 19,420 Hours (Including 7,150 Hours on Boeing 727s, He served with Federal Express since 1984, he formerly served with Delta Airlines from 1979 to 1983) and First Officer Paul Manning,27 with 5,250 Hours (Including 1,760 Hours on Boeing 727s, he served with Federal Express since 1985), Also on board are 2 Deadheading Federal Express Employees, Michael Abrahamowicz,29 and Scott Miramontes,18 who are both sleeping in the jumpseats, ATC tells Flight 1147 to land on Runway 10, Ar 4:51 AM, Flight 1147 lands on Runway 10 but bounces and Crashes All Occupants survived the crash and were injured (With Abrahamowicz having serious injuries), they managed to escape the 727 two minutes after crashing and 40 seconds before the plane caught fire from cargo. The Fire destroys the 727, It was the first hull lost of Federal Express (Later Fedex Express)




    The NTSB investigated the accident and detirmed that Captain Thompson fails to correct speed while landing resulting him to try to Turnaround but resulting into Control Flight into Terrain.


    Captain Thompson and First Officer Manning were suspended for 5 Months due to their injuries. Captain Thompson remained with Fedex Express until retiring in 2001, he died from Lung Cancer on May 8th,2011, at Age 68, First Officer Manning remained with Fedex Express until 1999, he then served with Southwest Airlines from 2000 to 2013, he is currently serving with Sun Country


    Fedex still uses Flight 1147 as a flight from Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport to Dallas/Forth Worth Airport

    Fedex still flies from Memphis to San Juan both with no stopover in Miami

    Arrest of Michael Green and the Boeing v Green Trial:

    On December 6th,1969, Michael Green was arrested by Seattle Police after being identified as the Operator of the Remote Control Plane, Boeing decided to Sue Green and go to Trial, The Crew of the 747 and several witnesses testified in Court in a case leading two weeks, Michael said he didn't mean to fly the RC plane into the 747 but according to Friends,Green's Mother and several RC Plane flyers Green confessed in Planing on bringing down several Planes with RC Planes while they take off at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, In the end Green was found guilty of Assault with intent of doing Bodily Harm and sentenced to 2 Months in Jail with 130 Hours of Community Service with $10,000 Bail. He was released in February of 1970.



    Captain Kenyon continued to Serve with Pan American World Airways until its Bankruptcy in 1991, he died from a Heart Attack in 2009

    First Officer Holloway continued to serve with United Airlines until 1982, he died from a Stroke in 1997

    Second Officer Velasco continued to serve with Trans World Airlines until 1993, he currently lives in San Diego,California with his Wife

    Green committed suicide in 1974 from jumping in front of a train


    N7470, the Boeing 747 involved was repaired and currently on display at The Museum of Flight in King County,Washington since 2003

Among them is First Officer Greenway's Family. at 11:59 PM, while flying over the Pacific Ocean near the coast of Taiwan. Both pilots fall asleep and leave the autopilot on while Dyring stays awake. Suddenly at 1:49 AM, Two Japanese Passengers Goto Daisuke,17 and Hiroi Eisaku,15 rushes into the cockpit. Eisaku stabs both the pilots while Daisuke grabs the joke, the autopilots disconnects after Daisuke grabs the joke, the plane starts pulling up, First Officer Greenway announces on the intercom that they are being hijacked and requesting help, The Plane enters a Stall and Daisuke pulls the yoke up while Wiseman and Greenway try to pull it up, Fortunately a group of 43 Passengers (18 Australians,12 Americans,9 Japanese,1 Canadian,1 British and 2 New Zealanders) attack both Daisuke and Eisaku, the plane is close to being inverted, Eisaku stabs 16 of the passengers who intervened (1 British,1 New Zealander,9 Australians,2 Americans and 3 Japanese)2 Americans pull the 2 hijackers out and start wrestling each other. After Eisaku and Daisuke are dragged out, both pilots managed to control and level the plane. The Plane has nearly dropped 14,200 Feet, Many of the passenger form up and beat up both Eisaku and Daisuke. Captain Wiseman announce they are diverting to Singapore

    at 5:42 AM, Qantas Flight 1522 emergency lands at Singapore Changi Airport in Singapore, Singapore Police Force Officers confront the crew and arrest both Eisaku and Daisuke.

    Aftermath:

    Daisuke confessed to Singapore Police Force Officers that he and Daisuke were fans of an Anime Show where two teenagers kill the Pilots of a Japan Airlines Boeing 747 Flight and deliberately crash the plane into the Pacific ocean. It is believed both Daisuke and Eisaku intended to crash the plane killing themselves and everybody on board but their families deny this claim, Daisuke and Eisaku were deported to Japan for trial and were sentenced to 4 Years in Jail, Captain Wiseman, First Officer Greenway and the 18 Australian Passengers who intervened were awarded the Bravery Award by the State of Australia at the 1992 Australian Bravery Awards. It's believed if Greenway and Wiseman reacted too late, the stall wouldn't been recoverable and the 747 would have collided into the ocean. The 90 Australian Passengers where given Fear of Flying courses, A Qantas ticket to anywhere they wish and $5,000. Following 9/11, It's now mandatory to lock the Cockpit door during a flight.


    What if the stall wasn't recovered in time?

    If the stall wasn't recovered the 747 would enter a steep dive causing many of the passengers who intervened to fly around the plane, Both Daisuke and Eisaku would have killed the pilots during the descend but eventually lose hold of their weapons. Some passengers would have tried to recover the stall but some or all would be defeated by the hijackers. there are two possibilities, the first possibility is that the passengers who intervened to stop the hijackers would try to recover the stall and control the plane, but due to the speed of the stall, that mostly isn't possible. I believe the plane would be around a 84-85° angle similar to if it the plane was descend to approach on landing. I estimate that around 282-292 of the occupants (Including the Hijackers) would be killed on impact due to the angle of the collision and the speed of the plane during the descend. The remaining 4-14 passengers (or some flight attendants) who initially survived the crash impact would eventually drown in either the plane or while trying to swim away from the crash-site. The second possibility is that the passengers were defeated by the hijackers and was left in a 90° angle and left to fell and crash into the pacific ocean. the 90° angle impact would kill everyone on board the plane on impact. Eventually in both cases, all 298 on board would have been killed. It would surpass Japan Airlines Flight 350 that killed 24 to be the deadliest aviation disaster involving deliberate crash of an airliner from either the pilot or passengers (Until the September 11th Attacks). I would be the first fatal accident involving Qantas in its Jet Plane history. It would have been the first fatal accident involving the Boeing 747-400 type, just 2 years after its introduction. Since the incident happened near the coast of Taiwan, it would have surpass Far Eastern Air Transport Flight 103 that killed 110 to be the deadliest accident in Taiwanese history. It would have possibly lead to Qantas to suspend its routes to Japan until further notice due to the hijackers being Japanese.


    The 747-400 involved, VH-OJD continued to fly with Qantas until 2013 and was scrapped

    Captain Wiseman continued flying with Qantas until retiring in 2011, he died from 2016 from Complications to Surgery

    First Officer Greenway continued flying with Qantas until retiring in 2009,

    Second Officer Dyring continued flying with Qantas until retiring in 2017.

Atta leaves the plane claiming to go the nearby Mcdonalds restaurant. At the New York Leg 132 Passengers board Most of them either Americans heading to Germany for Vacation or European business people returning home. Among them is Alfred Ohlendorf,48, His Wife Luna,46 and their son Wilfried,11, They are returning home to Frankfurt after visiting family in New York City for a reunion.Alfred is seated in 20K where the bomb is placed while Luna was seated in 20H and Wilfried was seated 20J. at 3:55 AM, Flight 180 takes off at Runway 4R. At 7:54 PM when the flight is over the Atlantic Ocean after Alfred returned from using the bathroom, He discovers the calculator and decides the play around with it. At 7:55 PM the Bomb explodes in Alfred's hand while he is leaning down the pick the calculator up and kills him. 14 People are injured from the bomb including Stewardess Elma Rimensburger , Luna and Wilfried. The Explosion causes the 747 to bank the right but the autopilot corrects the bank. Several passengers that are close to seat 20K move either up or back away from the seat but others are told to stay in their seats either because they are injured or there isn't enough space. The Flight Attendants provide aid to the injured to prevent further panic. An Austrian Steward provides information of what happened to the cockpit crew and tells Purser Peltzer to inspect the damage and to calm down passengers, The Steward also tells the cockpit crew that the 747 might break up from the damage sustained in the explosion. Captain Stadtbäumer attempts to control the plane but the autopilot isn't responding correctly. He also notices they don't have enough fuel to get to NYC, so they head to Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. Since the autopilot is inoperative, The Cockpit Crew debate on what they should do to turn the plane. First Officer Ammermann decides to disable the autopilot but can't fully control the plane due to the cable that connect the joke being damaged by the bomb. The Cockpit Crew put their strength in order to try to move the plane's ailerons but fail, so First officer Ammermann turns the autopilot back on. Relief Captain Riez gets the idea for the pilots to turn off power to Engines on the right wing but make left engine wings still control power. The plane slowly pulls right . The flight later successfully emergency lands at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. Wilfried Ohlendorf dies from his injuries at Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris on May 31st, His mom survived with blinding to her Right eye.

    Aftermath:

    the reason Atta placed the bomb at 20K was because he believed the plane would break the cockpit nose area of the 747 similar to the Pan Am 103 Bombing. The Bombing was part of a Plot on attacks against Germany by al-Qaeda. The Plan involved assassinating German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, Mass Shootings at Christmas Markets throughout Germany and the intention of Bombing Lufthansa Flights. The Bomb wasn't big enough to cause a breakup or an big explosion. Mohammed Atta would later be one of the 19 Hijackers of the September 11th Attacks


    The 747-200 Involved, D-ABZE later flew with Pullmartur Air,Air Universal and Hellenic Imperial Airways until being retired in 2011, it's been storage ever since

    Captain Stadtsbäumer continued serving with Lufthansa until retiring in 2005, he died in 2016.

    First Officer Ammermann continued serving with Lufthansa until retiring in 2008

    Second Officer Geschwind continued serving with Lufthansa until 2003 when he joined Air Berlin, he served with Air Berlin until retiring in 2011.

    Relief Captain Riez continued serving with Lufthansa until retiring in 2013

    Summary:

    On Thursday, July 2nd,1964, A Private 13 Year old Cessna 195B Busnessliner was flying over Saskatchewan,Canada. The Flight originated at Bella Colla Airport in British Columbia with the destination being Brandon Municipal Airport in Manitoba . There were two occupants on board. The Pilot and owner of the 195 was Jeremian Woodward,46 of Nanaimo. He was a Former Royal Canadian Air Force Pilot during World War Two and The Korean War and also participated at Air Shows. His Passenger was his cousin Jeremy "Jemmy" Bartcowski,23 of Vancouver. Both are flying to Manitoba to attend The Wedding of Bartcowski's Stepsister which was going to be held on Saturday,July 4th. According to Woodward, on the night of the Incident they were talking about Baseball and The Vietnam War while they were listening to Buddy Holly on the Radio, Woodward recalled Bartcowski making a joke about Them crashing because they were listening to Buddy Holly since Holly died in a Plane crash. Woodward also remembers Bartcowski being drunks from drinking alcohol they brought on the trip. At around 1:10 AM while Bartcowski was fast asleep, Woodward was flying the plane at 14,200 Feet when he sees a bright blue light to the right of the aircraft. The Light wakes up Bartcowski. Woodward assumes the light to be Military aircraft as they were common in the area and puts a blanket over Bartcowski's face so he can sleep. The Light seems to produce heat as both Woodward and Bartcowski feel the heat and start getting burns on their arms and hands. Woodward sudenly remembers he brought a Communication device with him and decides to contact Regina ATC

    RATC: I'm sorry but i don't see any traffic on our Rader

    JW: Well there are bright lights in front of us about 1 and a half Miles

    Controller Rothstein: Can you please Identify the aircraft, Charlie dash Echo-Lima-Alfa-Yankee?

    JW: I can't tell but i do see traffic

    JB: What the hell is this? i can't get to sleep

    Controller Rothstein: Roger Charlie dash Echo-Lima-Alfa-Yankee, can you please mantain visual contact with the specific traffic? can you state the altitude too?

    Controller Rothstein: Can you be able to identify the type of aircraft, Charlie dash Echo-Lima-Alfa-Yankee? Like is it Civilian or Military?

    JW: Charlie dash Echo-Lima-Alfa-Yankee, it's barley possible to tell but i could see navigation lights

    Controller Rothstein: can you tell what color the Beacon light are?

    JW: It's kinda like aqua Blue almost


    The UFO then flies upward

    JW: Okay it's flying above us


    The Connection between C-ELAY and Regina ATC cut out and the Plane vashishes from the Radar, Controller Rothstein believes that C-ELAY crashed in a remote location trying to get away from the unknown aircraft



    Woodward descends the plane to 11,00 Feet to stay low from the mysterious aircraft but the light remains above them, Now both Woodward and Bartcowski are extremely unnerved and want to get away from this aircraft believing to be following them. They both agree to fly to Regina International Airport. Nearby TWA Flight 1420, A Lockheed L-049 Constellation flying from Seattle to Toronto is flying within the area of The Cessna 195

    TWA Flight 1420 reports to ATC:

    Their is this mysterious light following a private aircraft, is there any reports on this?

    ATC Responds:
    Yes, we did hear a Pilot in his private plane report a mysterious light but they vanished from our radar, so we believed they crashed

    TWA 1420 feeds back:

    That's Confusing , they're flying right above us right now

    The Light then mysteriously disappears

    TWA 1420: Now everything is pitch black, we can't see anything Now

    with no other unknown aircraft in sight, Woodward and Bartcowski continue to fly to Regina International Airport



    Regina International Airport closes down all flights departing from the airport in case the Cessna 195 lands at the airport, They also contact the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) who are waited at the airport in case the Cessna lands. At 4:20 AM, the Cessna lands at Runway 08, RCMP Cars surround the plane when the Cessna comes to a halt. Both Woodward and Bartcowski exit the Cessna via the Pilot Door with minor burns and were questioned.



    The next day the whole story spreads around Canada and the United States. However initially , Transport Canada, The transportation division of the Government of Canada believed Woodward made up the story and took his Aircraft License away, but Woodward given his license back on July 5th. On July 6th Transport Canada wanted to know what to tell about the Public about the UFO. Lester Pearson, Canada's prime minister at the time believed that the lights were probably a McDonnell F-101 Voodoo during a training flight originating at Moose Jaw Air Force Base, A presentation of the incident was held in Toronto and was attended by members of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), Representatives of Prime Minister Pearson and others. Following the presentation, everyone present was told that the incident was a secret and that the meeting never happened. According to Transportation Canada, they considered the recording the first Aviation Incident involving a UFO in History. Those Present took possession of the recording. The Results of a Two month investigation were released in a Press conference Meeting in 1965. During that conference, The CSIS confirmed that ATC confirmed the UFO. They stated that the Object following the Cessna was probably a radar message and the pilot Woodward are too tired to tell what the lights were. Following the Cessna 195 UFO incident, Four other Aviation UFO Incidents had occurred in Saskatchewan:

    Jermaine Woodward keep his Cessna 195 until he passed away on September 3rd,2015 at age 98, His Cessna was placed down to his grandson Mark who was 19 at the time.


    Jeremy Bartcowski is still alive and resides in Abbotsford,British Columbia with his wife, Michelle. They had a daughter named Cecilia.

    Then suddenly, one of the cargo boxes shifts and bumps into the back of the 747-400 and collides into the bulkhead wiping out one of the hydraulics.


    This causes the 747 to pitch up a little bit and causes the gear not to go up

    CC: I have no idea. It appears i we are still going up


    Captain Chao pulls the plane down and pulls the plane around to the left

    EHAM: Singapore 1736, can you explain your emergency?

    CC: Our plane is almost uncontrollable , declaring landing

    ATC Delay all flights scheduled to take off at Runway 09 for Singapore 1736 to land

    Captain Chao decides to try to lower the plane down to 560 Feet and they are close to the runway


    EHAM: We see you, we will send ambulances and fire trucks to you if this is a hard landing

    CC: I think this will be a big touchdown

    The 747 bounces on the runway with fire trucks perusing the aircraft


    Both the pilots slam on the braking system and the plane screeches to a halt nearly 1 .5 miles down the runway. Fire Trucks and Ambulances surrond the aircraft and both crew go down the emergency slide unharmed




    The Dutch Safety Board (DSB) found out the cargo wasn't properly loaded . On takeoff one of the Bins carrying the cargo shifted from its position during takeoff and smashed into the rear bulkhead. this caused one of the hydraulics to lose power resulting in damage to the stabilizer, making the elevators almost uncontrollable. Due to the cargo shifting back, it almost altered the plane's gravity. This further reduced airspeed and control. Many organizations including the NTSB recommend that loadmasters have more improved experience training procedures



    Similar accident involving a Boeing 747-400F:

    On April 29th,2013. National Airlines Flight 102, A 20 Year old Boeing 747-400F registered as N749CA stalled and crashed outside Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan killing all 7 on board (4 Pilots,2 maintenance workers and a loadmaster) . Similar to Flight 1763, Flight 102's cargo wasn't properly loaded and one of the vehicles the flight was carrying shift and backed into the rear of the 747 resulting in the crew losing control of the plane and leading to the stall.


    Aircraft and Crew:


    9V-SFM, The Boeing 747-400F involved was repaired after the incident and brought back into service, Singapore Airlines Cargo aircraft was brought to Singapore Airlines in 2018 and is still operated by Singapore Airlines.


    Captain Chao ended cargo service with Singapore Airlines in November of 2015 and was brought back into Passenger service the month after.

    First Officer Wilkinson started passenger services with Singapore Airlines in February of 2016 and was upgraded to Captain in July of that same year. He mostly flies on the Singapore-Auckland/Auckland-Singapore Route

    Both Chao and Wilkinson are friends, even after the incident. Sometimes they fly on the same flight together.

On board are 72 Passengers, Among the passengers are 23 Children (Including 11 Children traveling solo home to either Chicago or New York from vacation with their families from either the Los Angeles Area or Denver), Four Passengers seated in row A are Homer Coleman,53, Robert Goldman,49, Phyllis Despain,47 and Neil Wootton,35 who are part of anti-war organization. Coleman enters the alley armed with a Vektor r5 and aims at stewardess White and threatens to kill her if see doesn't freeze. He announces to the passengers and flight attendants that he and his partners are planning to crash the plane into the White House to kill president Jimmy Carter and orders Despain and Wootton to enter the cockpit while he and Goldman guard the flight attendants and passengers. The Pilots are surprised when Depspain and Wootton enter the cockpit with guns and listen the the hijackers. Captain Daniels pretends to talk on the announcement speaker and tells ATC of the hijacking. Omaha Airport ATC alert the United States Air Force about the hijacking. In response the Air Force sends two F-15s from the Offutt Air Force Base and peruse the 727 when it enters Iowa Airspace. F-15 #1 is commanded by First Lieutenant Christopher Walsh,28 while F-15 #2 is commanded by Second Lieutenant Peter Freeman,25. at 11:13 AM, both F-15s approach the Boeing 727 where a fight between the hijackers and passengers is happening. The USAF ask President Carter about the flight. Reluctantly, Carter announces that Flight 87 should be shot down. Both planes shoot at the Tail and Wings causing the plane to have little to no control and plummit to the ground and crash in Calhoun County, Iowa. Initially the four hijackers, 67 Passengers and 2 Flight attendants die leading to 73 deaths but Steward Kowalski dies 4 days later on April 28th from his injuries while Stewardess Dominquez dies 23 days later on May 17th from her injuries. In total 75 are killed, at the time it was the deadliest accident in Iowa State History until the crash of United Airlines Flight 232 in 1989 that killed 111 People. The three Cockpit crew and 1 passenger survive. The Sole surviving passenger was 12 year old Joshua Hanson of Newark,New Jersey who was thrown out of the plane at 200 feet after he refused to put on his seatbelt and survived with only injuries to his feet, legs and pelvis. Both of his parents were killed in the crash.

    The FAA made locking the cockpit door mandatory in response to the September 11th Attacks but just in cause the United States Air Force and NORAD prepare to preform shootdowns in cause a hijacking does happen.
