Just a test with barely any tuning but heres a little taste. some look better then others because its not true RT. its Screen Space Reflection so kinda like knockoff diet Ray Tracing that is based off of what is shown on screen.

You should definitely turn off SSAO in game, the shader already calculates AO.
Otherwise, looks neat, how is your FPS? I'm have 1060 3GB, would be nice to see if it's worth running with BeamNG.

SSAO is off in game as far as I can remember. Plus the in game SSAO is nowhere near intense enough or high quality so I usually add SSAO from reshade to make it better. I have a 1060 6GB and get maybe around 30 fps if I'm lucky on some maps, on utah and other big maps like that I got maybe 20. Definitely not playable for now but I'm gonna try the beta version to see if is a bit more stable. Also since it's SSR if you move the cam or drive you can see it try to calculate the reflections and it can't keep up so it's really smeary and with higher ambiant light reflection settings you can see random pixels all over the screen.

I would love to see this optimized so it could run at decent fps on midrange GPU's like the 1060

Okay so I tested out the beta version of the shader with more or less similar results and smoother framerate

Oh man I feel for you, but at least is a somewhat stable 15 fps, sometimes the game just craps it's pants sometimes and gets really delayed

Sorry for the super late response and you've probably figured it out by now but if not there should be a folder under beaming/bin64/ called "reshade-shaders" and you just drop the "shaders" and "textures" folders from the raytracing zip into "reshade-shaders"

I would agree with you. Tone it down a little. Maybe half of what you have is good.
