The thing with Cliff is it's already been remade once before, the original map was much simpler then the current map, seeing as it's job is to destroy cars it may get trees, it may not. I may stay the same.

I was thinking about Hirochi the other day- and I realized something.
the Hirochi equivalent of a 2nd gen Forester would be PERFECT for east coast usa- as foresters sell really, really well there (Pacific NW too.) Give it an RS version, a 'custom' version, and an offroad version- you've got lots of oppourtunity for customization and such, and suddenly you've got a both a map-appropriate car, an early 00's car, and a new awd tuner car!
The only vehicle I think we need more is a present-day Gavril sedan.

Cliff only needs new ground and grass textures. That is it. Cliff solely exists to throw vehicles off of. There is no reason to add buildings or roads. Trees are also not a good idea, as vehicles that hit them just wrap around them and get stuck, and the purpose of cliff is to have cars tumble all the way down.

I just hope that Utah becomes a full on moab-style offroader's paradise- crawling and trails for days sounds like heaven to me!

It would be nice to see ECA levels of trail density. Utah also really needs more inhabitable buildings, as of now there is only the visitor center, AJ Auto Repair, and the warehouse. A small town (with various small public buildings like a sheriff station and a fire station) and some more residential/commercial would be nice (A small rv park/campground would be great). The visitor center implies part of the map is a park of some kind, so national park things (ranger stations, park buildings) would be nice to see as well.

It seems that the Hirochi Raceway tunnel is based on the abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike.

    The resemblance is uncanny.

I now kinda wish the tunnel was closed off because it was abandoned now rather than under construction.

Steam trading card? Seems to be the same style and look of one.

    It couldn't be.

BeamNG steam trading cards feature singular vehicles/props in a completely different more stylized art style.

Steam released an update to the Library today, if you're using the beta version of Steam. All games now have a 'portrait' style cover image in the library, and that's the one for BeamNG.

    Here's the full size image:

I reckon if you really want to see a career update badly...go back to RoR. IIRC there were some crane missions...once those become recreated scenarios here then you're likely to see career drop.

I have been thinking about the statement being made in the devblog about the pickup (and Roamer and van) being next in line for an overhaul and wondering if we will finally receive the infamous 8 foot bed for the D-series.

What's so infamous about it? It was asked if we will get one, and the answer was "no". Sadly.

IMO The D-Series really needs it, even if a compromise has to be made somewhere. Maybe get rid of some of the current chassis to make room (I'm not a truck guy, but surely some of the current ones are unecessary) or make do with a weird solution like putting it on the extended cab frame. Sure it wouldn't be ideal, but I'd prefer that over not having a long bed at all.
