Yeah, there's a wave of new spam-bot hitting several forums, including ours (happens from time to time) While we have systems in place that block many of them before they manage to spam, some still go through. It's hard to get all of them without massively increasing the risk of legit users not being able to post. Said that, not much to worry / care about, at the end of the day (after a few minutes or hours usually) all their crap is getting wiped ez.
Do new users have to verify their email before they can post? That could possibly stop a few more bots, assuming we're not doing that already.

It amazes me how many threads have been made about the traffic issue. Does anyone even try to fix issues anymore? Any attempt to find a fix would surely lead to any one of the threads which already exist... I find the current AI to be amusing. I went AFK to open a window and the next thing I know my G29 is going crazy as a Wentward flattend my Piccolina.
Now that is something I never expected to see. I'm also not sure if that's the weirdest idea I've seen for a dating sim or not. Lol, imagine if EA ever made a dating sim. Probably each and every interaction would be behind a micro transaction.
I just remembered that the storm Area 51 event is supposed to happen this Friday. I really hope people don't actually show up. I can already imagine news articles reading "multiple people arrested or dead in an attempt to enter Area 51." I know it started out as a joke, but if all of these stupid internet challenges are anything to go by, chances are there are people stupid enough to actually go there.
