    Quick update
Progress has been pretty slow lately due to some poor planning and lack of energy.
Next post relating to this map should be the beta rather then more progress updates as I don't want to spoil too much and would rather let you guys discover the map on.

Fixed a really big issue with this map, it was boring.
Jokes aside the first version didn't really provide much of interest and just felt like a really dull mix between east and west coast usa.
I took some time to clear my head and made the map bigger so I could pull off some incredible views and just create a more varied environment, though right now the map is heavily wip and there are definitely some eye sores here.

Happy to see you back at it! That pic looks fantastic and I'm looking forward to the day we can drive it. :)

Are you planning on doing some twisty mountain roads or is it going to mostly be highways and gentle curves?

I am probably going to have a few twisty paved roads near the edges of the map but most of the mountains are to going to have dirt roads snaking through them, the highway in the screenshot is the only one I plan on putting in the map.

Might pick this up for a bit and maybe finish it, I've experimenting with heightmaps in blender again now that I have a better grasp on compositing, while it is a lot easier to block out roads and test stuff without destroying the original terrain we'll see how long my interest for mapping lasts this time lol
