Here is a link to the mod itself: Waypoints-(paths)-for-cars/ Installation is very easy, just follow these steps: 1. Download and install Lua-mod-installer. 2. Use the LUA mod installer to open 'wp.bls' from the 'install script' zip archive. Here is a tutorial I made on how to record and run cars along waypoint paths: - Just make sure you are in BNGS mode in the console or all of the commands will return errors. Hope that helps!
This has to be one of my all time favorite maps. I completed a lap in 5:07:43 minutes with the Subaru Impereza 22b. Lost a wheel when approaching the finish line, but I made it through. - - - Updated - - - Raced with the Mitsubishi this time. Wrecked near the finish, but I'll count it. Time was 5:09:18 minutes, 2 second difference from the Subaru.
Your 1957 classic bel-air May i receive a Beta Version of this car i would die of love if i got to. also would you mind if i asked are you going to make a 1969 dodge charger (general lee, stock, demo derby)
Re: Your 1957 classic bel-air I quite enjoyed this track more than anything else last couple of days ! I have no idea how I missed it this whole time, but I have to say I am glad I've found it. My favourite part is the tunnel and what comes afterwards. Pure fun! I also love the bridge at the beginning. It's always a challege not to crash into the sides at high speeds... I know which track I will use to test the 57 Chevy for the first time. The cars were released days ago ^^ http://www.beamng.com/threads/7868-Racing-Pack-5-cars-2-maps The Mitsubishi also included. Have fun!
That quote up there was before I found the download. I found it, but it took over 4 minutes to finish the download. Anyway, great work! This is one of my favorite tracks!
My grandson found this map you made. It is outstanding! Thank you for all the time and effort. It adds a lot to BeamNg! Kudo's
Thanks everyone again for the kudo's, I'm glad you enjoy it. I've made some tweaks to the map to improve on things. Not anything substantial, just some improvements here and there, but I've been hesitant to release it because I've been waiting for the race update so I could update the track with some of the new features like a start / finish timer, automated barricades, etc. Since I think that the update "may" still be a long ways off, I may still upload the tweaked version. @Kgibson4, The 57 Classic, although is functional, is still a bit buggy and not up to snuff quality wise concerning collisions. I'm on my 3rd JBeam structure for the body because I wasn't happy with the results. Creating node and beam structures is one thing, having them behave in a predictable way is another. Building them is the easy part. Now I know why it takes so long for new cars to be released. At this point it isn't "beta ready", but once I'm reasonably pleased with it, then I'll release it.
Re: Stockcar Madness racing map Awesome map! Still can't make it far if I take a left out the gate... that turn gets me 90% of the time. Right it is The people & their ambient make it pretty cool! This guy! A good mix of the tunnels from Hawaii (sea tunnel) and Germany (smoothed walls that one could drive up) from Cruisin' The World.
Ladies and gentlemen, can I just say that this is possibly the greatest and most challenging map ever created? This took me 20 tries. 20 tries of trial and error to completely memorize the map and know everything about it. Every corner. Every guard rail. Every ramp. Every gear change. It's so intense that I could barely find a car that could take it as much as the Lancer. I respect the heck out of you as a map maker. Even if this was ported from somewhere I respect you for getting the idea to put it here in the first place. This is the most insane thing I've ever played and I hope to see more maps like this in the future. And yes, I realize that this thread is a million years old, but I want to remind people of exactly the kind of maps that should be popping up more often. This was an experience. This was absolute insanity at it's finest and fastest.
I must have been rather lucky then... I managed to complete the course in a slightly modified 1973-1978 Moonhawk V8 Sport. Used the stage 1 supercharger. Removed inner fenders, chrome stripping, passenger seat and rear seats. Used the 4 speed manual I had a few slow(ish) crashes into the rails on some corners and lost my front left wheel a few turns after the jump, which I did land at an angle. Oh yes... I was also using a keyboard. EDIT: Second attempt... Same car... My suspension collapsed, my front right wheel flew off and my hood opened itself just before the final dirt road to the finish. Why? I'm not sure. Just found where my wheel went... It somehow made it closer to the finish than my car did!
I recorded some of my runs of the track. First, a fail. Then, a success! I don't think this counts as double posting, it's been ~4 hours since my last post.
