I would love to see a JATO available for more cars. It's already on the bus, just stuff it in the trunk of everything else.

In other news:
Because we don't have an official luxury Gavril subsidiary, I think that the Town Car counterpart to the GM should probably be a Beufort. Either that or the St. Marr.
St. Marr was this random idea i worked up when I was looking at old Imperial products, and I feel like the St. Marr would be the luxury counterpart that was a subsidiary for a while but was then absorbed by it's parent company.
For example: 1960 St. Marr Regis Convertible (Own individual car)
15 years later: 1975 Gavril St. Marr Convertible (Gavril GM trim model)
Idk I thought that would make more sense than my previous (now deleted) Burnside post.

 

Burnside is the official luxury subsidiary though.

 

We need a more modern version of the Burnside

 

Nah, someone said it was more of a mid-range Pontiac-like brand iirc.

Here's the name ideas (note, this is purely hypothetical as to what I think would happen, I have no darn clue what the dev team is planning right now)
Lincoln Town Car: Burnside Crown Special/Gavril St. Marr Special
Lincoln Continental: Burnside Special (90 something to 2000 something), Gavril St. Marr.
Lincoln Mk VIII: Burnside Roadhawk/Gavril St. Marr Supercoupe.

 

Is it just me or does it seem like the GM needs its own hubcaps? The standard generic ones really don't fit the overall look/time period very well.

 

Plus the fact that there’s no Gavril branding on them. I think just slapping a G on the hubcaps would at least be a start.

 

The hubcaps look fairly period correct (90s era) but they seem more like the kind of hubcaps to be either on a Japanese car or some cheap compact American car
They look really out of place on a barge like the GM

 

Why Imperial, if Gavril cars are near-universally based on GM and FoMoCo products?

 

Better question, is there even a beamng name for the Lore friendly General motors?

 

Just "Gavril Motors Conglomerate" or something?
or "GaMoCo"?

 

I'm planning to start a BeamNG Fan Lore Project, a thread where we could make BNG lore outside what is in the game.

I suggest FMI - Federated Motor Industries. (also the company that guy from Fight Club worked for).

It could also be AMM (Associated Motor Manufacturing), and I'm more partial towards that.

 

Because why not? I mean not everything has to be 1:1 to irl.
