Mods not installing

Hey. I re-installed my game recently because I accidendly deleted it and I can't install vehicle or map mods into the game. All the files are there in the BeamNG-drive 0.3 folder but they do not appear in game?

 

vehicles go into the ''vehicles'' folder, and maps into the ''levels'' folder.

 

Yea I know and all the mods I have installed into them are there they just don't appear in game

 

are you installing the whole rar file? or the folder in the rar file

The mods are in the right folder they are just not in game.

 

would you mind taking a screenshot of your BeamNG\BeamNG.drive-0.3\vehicles folder? maybe that can help figure it out a bit more

 

Sure you havent done the old folder inside folder trick?

Normally if I look in the vehicles folder there should be a folder called "hatch", if I open hatch it should be a whole bunch of files. A common error is to instead accidently double nest the folders so I open vehicles, then open hatch and instead of finding a bunch of files find another folder called hatch which then has the files inside, this is wrong.

 

This is my folder and I have like another 20-30 mods out of shot in the same folder. Is this the right folder? I think it is because it is where I put the mods before I uninstalled BeamNG and re installed it

 

No, show us what is in the vehicles folder, not the path.

 

Why was cardinal banned?

 

This is how mine looks, not exactly sure what would be causing your problem. Did you make sure you didnt do what six* said? (vehicles/vehicles type of thing, or vehicles/dsckiwi/dsckiwi)

 

Yeah that is exactly what mine looks like but for some reason it says i have to many words when it is screenshoted. Plus why was cardinal banned???

Yes. I didn't find any problems.

as far as i know no sir. i was given it to test it out when he was working on it way back and iirc he is waiting for bigger wheel and tire support. Havent heard of any updates on it since that time (dont quote me on that, bad memory and dont want to search through my msgs)

 

Apparently he was banned for "spilling the beans" on some super secret info about upcoming updates...I won't say what it is because I might get myself banned for it

 

Spilling the beans? Good lord are the new hired moderator staff a bunch of children? I looked at everything Cardinal had posted and didnt see anything bad. So i'm not very sure but if he was banned because of this thread then that's just absolute stupidity.

 

Yup that is dumb tdev posted something in the PUBLIC irc chat room and then cardinal posts it on the forum and gets banned for it.

 

Of course, the posts have been deleted.
