West Coast 1/4 Mile Racing - How fast are you guys trapping? Record: 6.891@227MPH

Love this new update! With working strip lights and timing. I've been building different configurations for months now and using a stop watch to test my times..

My best with this new update was a 7.3 @ 195mph in a custom gavril d series.

Running 15x12 slicks front and rear with awd trans 3 speed geared like a power glide.

7.0 v8 from one of the mods and a stg 3 block and largest blower. Geared 3.52 front and rear. Lowered suspension I need to do alot more dialing in I'm getting axle wrap on launching it without preloading it. Making ridiculous power at around 2400hp.

Ultimately I'd like to see what you guys can do with realistic setups nothing insane. There isn't an effective wheelie bar that fits everything so I run into issues keeping the front end on the ground on rwd setups.

I am having an issue with the cover hatch not allowing 5 lugs and 15x12 slicks anymore without breaking everything. Was running a built 2.5 in the covet running 9 sec passes prior to update traction and unibody stiffness limited me. Would love to see this fixed. I'm going to keep trying new setups to see what kinds of runs you guys are managing.

 

I've been waiting for a drag racing update and a thread like this for years. Will definitely update my post later with twin turbo Barstow happiness

 

Heck yeah custom stuff is welcome so if you come up with twin turbo jbeam keep it realistic obviously running 2 secs with over sticky tires and 10k hp is not what this thread is looking for lol. I think I'm going to go for a lighter platform to see if I can hit 6s.7s are hard enough to hit tho. A built etk k car awd on alot of boost ran 8.5

7.3 run was with pickup

7.5 @ 209mph I just achieved with the grand Marshall but melted the pistons down the track. Similar setup to truck but on boost to keep wheels on ground. Power glide gearing

Going to try spraying in 3rd to get under 7sec because I'm pulling the wheels about a foot off the ground at the 1/8th mile point. Any more power on the first part is gonna set me out of control.

**tried to spray and motor isn't holding much more power and its unstable.. 7.088 @ 214 is the record to beat peeps

 

This is my turbo'd Barstow TS. Rocking a Stage III 423 cui long block, with a big fat turbski making about 2000 hp @30 psi, riding on p400x50r15 tires I believe.
PB ET is 7.294 @188 mph.

Getting into low 7 second 1/4 mile passes is when you start reaching a threshold for a stock body car. I'd love to see some rail car mods come around.

For the dseries 2021 BHP 7.5L single turbo, 4 speed auto, 4220 lbs, 17x8s in the front, 15x12s in the rear.

7.926 @ 193.87 MPH still tuning.

7.742 @ 196.03 @ 4043 lbs same 2021 BHP.

I just got my drag Moonhawk to run a 6.88 at 202 with absolutely no mods, just a lot of tuning. Will post proof soon.

6.891 with a modified etk 800 series 2250~hp on turbo , 2950~hp on spray with a custom 3-speed transmission.

I'm posting my ridiculous setup anyway!

Custom modded Legran 423 CUI V8 RWD With Stage 4 Supercharger + My Turbo mod (TwinchargeFTW ) putting down 6205HP and with Nos 6875HP and a weight of 3441lbs/1561Kg and got it run a 6.453s @ 270.88Mph
first had problems with doing wheelies and wheelspin at 300km/h (like wtf), made a big wing with much downforce and a wheeliebar and got the time


i don't know much about setting up a drag car, but i'm fine with the time for now

don't know how you guys take a car without mods under 7s. Like WTF?

 

i would do this but the map is too laggy, id like to see just the dragstrip level with ai

 

They surely don't have a super unrealistic engine that makes the car spin the wheels at over 300km/h...

but also, proper launches help a lot

I can't beat 185 mph with the vanilla parts (generally, stock drag config with just enough NOS to not blow up the engine).

 

i got the moonhawk with vanilla parts and nos to 196mph

 

my truck was full weight just no passenger seat.

Welllll... its about time, I guess ill post my times been holding onto it for a bit its the big block mod barstow making around 2800hp supercharged to 3100-3200hp on spray running a 5.913 at 245.19 bad pic snapped from discord on phone

Took a good while alot of testing tuning breaking repeat, learning how to get off the transbrake correctly and keeping it straight when and how to apply the spray, but really most important is just how you get out the hole too much and the car jerks far left into other lane. Its been in the 5's 6 or 7 times now likes to hang around 6.0 to 6.2 235-245mph range but all comes to how I leave off the light , not sure if i can post my discord link in here but more than welcome to join and figure out how to get even faster just me and a few buddies atm constantly testing where we can now watch what ever someone is building and help out or just see where they get.
