Wow, what a world of difference between 1963 and 1993. Thought it would be fun to drive both the Grand Marshal V8 and the Bluebuck Marshal into the same wall at 50mph to compare the two. I would consider them to be related somewhat (similar to the 90s Caprice and the 60s Impala/Biscayne/Bell air).

Haven't been so keen to play an update since the West Coast USA update. The hydraulics are a really nice touch.

Here's an old clip that I thought might be useful in understanding exactly how to squeeze optimal handling out of the Bluebuck. Most of this stuff has already been covered in more modern films and handbooks, but I thought it would be interesting to see a similar vehicle demonstrating:

Thanks for finding this video. I'm surprised how good quality it is for how old it is.

"Bubu" is how I affectionately call my 8 years old kid, in a reference to Yogi Bear's companion, Boo-Boo Bear ("Bubu" in the italian adaptation of the show).

My son will love the "Bad Bubu" paint scheme on the Drag version of the Bluebuck!

    Thank you! :)

This is an interesting video, though I'd say most of the concepts explained in it apply to all cars. I have to say I was surprised at how intuitively everything is explained in this video, though. There's a lot of really interesting concepts of physics that are shown really well here.

This is supposedly the 'Part 2', but it appears to be an entirely separate film to me. I held off on posting it because it has less emphasis on driving dynamics:

As for being good quality, this is actually pretty poor for what's available on YouTube (there's a curious amount of vintage police training material available for whatever reason). Check out this clip, roughly a decade older, of a police chase in rural Kansas being re-enacted:

As almost every vehicle in it seems to be an Impala of similar vintage to a Bluebuck, I'm almost tempted to issue a challenge for someone to lay new visuals over it in Beam!

Definitely would be cool to see a 70s american Fullsize to bridge the gap between the 60's Bluebuck and the 90's Grand Marshall.

You must be very young to think that's good quality video... hehehe, just check the last Waltz by Martin Scorsese in 1978. So for the capabilities of the time, no isn't good quality video.

if we were going to get a late 70s land yacht, why not make it the 79 BlueBuck?

I think the fullsize 70s barge was originally going to be called the Beaufort or something. Either way I would very much like to see a large plushy luxury sedan with a choked V8. The Bluebuck is a bit weak due to its X frame so hopefully if it does ever come out its able take more of a beating than the Bluebuck. But seeing as we just got the Bluebuck and the next car is also another American car sadly I don't have high hopes for it coming for a long time if at all.
