we need more herbie shows or movies or idk --- Post updated --- for me he takes longer than grid small pure
The wheels glitch and ruin my progress with him. Can you make the wheels not glitch and at least make it easier to make him fast? I’ve only made him as fast as you can once, and only for minutes before the wheels broke.
What do you mean by 'wheels glitch'? I can't say I have experienced this. More detail would be helpful for the creator to fix potential bugs.
Is it possible that at some point we get a version of this mod re-branded into a fictional and possibly lore-friendly car brand that fits better into the game? Some people, like me, hate having mixed in real and fake cars in their menus and prefer rebranded versions that fit the game, so that'd be greatly appreciated
I don't know if I did this right or not but I dragged the .zip to the "rep" folder and opened the game but it said there was no info available. Is there a way to fix this? --- Post updated --- If you get a good app to open code files you can go in and rebrand it yourself but that may just be me.
I was using this mod yesterday and it's working fantastic on 0.15.0.5.7940. I'll upgrade once I figure out how to unblock the nasty Steam Client.
Glad i retried this mod! Love seeing a stock beetle in any car game(though i swear im not a VW fanboy). Major bug i encountered yesterday though. Crashed Herby at full speed with a race transmission and nos. Now it wont work at all. All variations of the Bug load in, but when i try to drive the Herby sputtering noises are going and it only moves 5 mph at most. Radiator is over heated and it starts with the engine locked up. Dont know how to fix this, other than uninstalling than reinstalling the mod.
Well, now i know XD I just decided to drive the bug and record it to show the thread i wasnt lying or dumb, then the radiator went back to normal and Herbie drove fine. I read the authors post thoroughly, but i didnt think Herbie's "feelings" persisted once youve closed the game and cleared the cache. Imma give this mod an 11/10 just for proving how derp i am.
Delete a .csv files located at "C:\Users\username\Documents\BeamNG.drive\settings\vehicles\bug" IIRC, to reset.
The exhaust smoke doesn't come out of the exhausts at all, it shoots out of the engine towards the seats, is it just me? --- Post updated --- Model appears to be very resource intensive still, really should optimize it. PC goes nuts when I have the car in the game. Also noticed some 3D model issues with the interior where there are gaps or cuts inside on the roof. Best model out there on the other hand
Try clearing the cache. If that's not enough, verify that your game is installed to the default locations. You can also perform a file integrity check from Steam. Finally, check all your mods to see if any of them is conflicting with this one. Deactivate it if that's the case. If nothing works, a full reinstall may do the trick. If that's not enough, it would suggest your game is non-standard and that's another issue entirely. I'll also mention that all of the above steps can easily be found in the help section.......
