What is with the new update!! All I ever played on the game was banger racing round a oval. Now the ai wont touch each other and if somebody comes to a stop instead of hitting them and making a awesome crash the ai just comes to a dead stop. Not to mention all the in game tracks I have made are now broke and the ai line is all messed up so they drive into the wall. I want the old version back, there is no fun in this one in the slightest. --- Post updated --- Please add how the old ai was, back as a update. keep the new one too but just add the old one as another option. As soon as a I get a fun pile up forming on the track all the cars stop and look at it. It’s so dull

Makes no difference, they still slam their brakes on if there is a car in the way and won’t touch you
Same here, if you set AI to chase they nolonger intend to crash you. Racing scenarios is not affected mostly. Use AI control in Manual mode perhaps?
I'm gonna bring up that I feel that certain AI is too cautious. The caution works fine for normal traffic, but not for the rest of the AI. Pursuing police and fleeing suspects seem to drive far too cautiously. Obviously I'm not saying that the AI should go back to the level of idiot that they used to be, but be able to drive both competently and aggressively. I should not be able to out-speed a Sunburst RS police car in a beater covet. Chasing AI cars should be able to keep up with you within reason and try to force you to stop.
I found a very interesting feature. When you spawn and start traffic, AIs start to drive carefully. Then you hit AI Random, they all drive aggressively. We would like to see the rearrangement of the radial menu AI secton, to spilt it into two sub-section. One is the traffic mode the other is the manual(0.15-ish)mode, and both the 0.15-ish mode and traffic mod have adjustable aggression settings.
It's most likely the traffic tool that started out as a mod and now is built in. There was an option for AI collision awareness, and it's likely it's on when it shouldn't be.
I noticed it too, while retesting Marked Man, I found the AI no longer ram my tow truck, even on the highest aggression setting. Its so boring to play it now.
I did some racing today, using the random AI mode where the collision awareness is now on, and I must say the awareness has some uses and it shouldn't be completely turned off. It's nice that AI now tries to pass you rather than ramming you from behind. But the awareness could use some tweaking. A lot of times the AI is biased toward braking rather than going around. There should be a racing AI mode where the AI is biased toward passing rather than slowing down and it stays on the racing circuit rather than going off on side roads, like it does on Hirochi Raceway and the Automation Test Track. Chase mode still seems to work. I saw the AI ramming me.
Anymore news on this being fixed? Went on it this morning and they are still slamming their brakes on and crashing into walls to avoid other cars?
