Update Speculation thread

No it will not. All maps I've seen have most of their content self-contained within the map's folder. However, if the map was somehow outsourcing it's textures to the content folder, that might happen.

 

WCUSA doenst need a revamp. it needs to be made again, or transfered to a bigger map. As cool as that map is, it is too much cramped into too little space.

 

I think 0.17 will release right before 8/27.

Manfred meant the release date in which Wreckfest is officially 'completed' (polished up and all) if I'm not mistaken.

 

Wreckfest had a PC version 1.0 release awhile ago

There is the console release + a big update for PC on the 27th

Will there be some sort of exhaust noise after the engine shuts off, or on the newer cars the cooling fans running? just seems like one of those little touches

 

Petition for beeps and bongs when you start up cars, I don't like just silence.

Concerning the Bluebuck. Updates to 3 ancient maps which started getting done nearly a year ago would be strange as the bulk of the content, and the Bluebuck is a simple body on frame car which shares drivetrain components with existing cars. I really think it'll be in this update and they are just playing their cards close to the chest as a change of pace.
