I was once on a vacation to Germany when I went to a small village called Tubingen. I loved staying there, you could walk everywhere, and the scenery was beautiful. tubingen.jpg I remember walking in this very area, it was night and the town was all lit up. the little waterside town was amazing.

I dont think whole detailed city is needed, only that part/quarter with those streets up in hill - jumping there would be really fun!

Just look at that (from 1:15).

vr is a great map fun to chase the ai :p also you are so true detail is not needed to make a map the detail just makes it lag look at how small the file for vr city is, ITS LIKE 3.8MB :O AND ITS A MAP! stuff dont need detail alot less detail then your alps map is needed to make a good map all your alps map does is lag ;-; if you could make a good map that has less detail maybe it wouldnt lag... we probably wouldnt even drive on half the roads :p back roads, front roads, etc

It's difficult for me to make a map how work on low config because I think have a middle config and I run 50/60 fps on altitude and 60 FPS in other maps... Sorry but I can't really see If a 10 years old config can run my maps or not... For example, an optimisation of something in a map can be real on a low config but unvisible for me, I don't know when it's good or not. I feel yet, with the torque 3D, have 5 or 6 years of delay compared to modern engines like CryEngine, Unreal engine or others.

Also I play games since 1988, and I have always follow the evolution of graphism, it's what I prefer! So I'm not interrested to do a map with 2 models duplicate 100 x and 2 textures..:( I like the artistic visual of VR city, no problems but I am unable to create this kind of thing.

Hm, how about something set in Pennsylvania! Maybe a medium town with a long-abandoned steel mill that now functions as a sick drifting spot. Boring retail and drab downtown too, all against the backdrop of the Allegheny Mountains.

I think you'll should make a map which has more open-roads to crash cars, towns like American Road map and some isolate place where people can perform ludicrous stunts.

This thread is THREE years old, you should probably listen to the big red warning over your comment box and not reply to it.
