    Discontinuously.

It was sketched and drafted in 2013, actual development only started last year though.

Almost everything the team makes always releases "when its ready" because you can't rush art.

Here's a little photoshop I made to see what the Bluebuck would look like if it was a station wagon:
    Bubuwagon.png

And if you're curious to see what an El Camino/Ranchero-esque version would look like...:
    Bubupickup.png

As for the 2-door version, essentially all it would take is some moving of the B-pillar, as door lines and handles are not present in those pics. :)

I've wanted alternate body styles for ages, but the Bubu has me wanting some more than ever. A coupe almost feels necessary and a wagon would just be awesome.

With the rise in community support for it since I last got an official response about it and the fact that the Bubu is supposed to have more content than the Autobello, which has the chopped buggy body (which is the only alt body style I know of which that car could have without considering it an entirely different car), and with Stoat's mod having 2/4 door versions, I'm more hopeful for this now. Once the game gets further in development and content starts getting focused on I think we have a chance to see some.

If you count the Piccolina's chopped body as an alt body style, then we technically have the D-Series and H-Series with alt body styles too.

and the roamer, since it shares frame and the front part of the body with the d-series

The Piccolina's chopped body is a heavily modified version of it's normal body, which is what I mean when I say alternate body style. I suppose the D-Series extended and crew cabs should count as alt. bodies since they are analagous to a LWB car, but I was excluding comercial vehicles on the whole. When Gabe said why he hasn't been doing alternative bodies he said it was because for passenger cars they are more difficult and less unique than they are for comercial vehicles.

H-Series just has uplifts, it doesn't even get an extended body, which makes me sad.
    --- Post updated ---
The Roamer is a whole new vehicle on that frame though, not just a different style of D-Series. That's a case of platform sharing, not a different body of the same car.
