That's because it has drag tires on the rear. They negate any oversteer when not under power. You can oversteer by dumping the clutch in a lower gear, but it can overheat the clutch if done multiple times.
would you ever consider making a version for off road? like give it beefy lifted suspension and big tires. that would be really cool in my opinion
There is a rally suspension option in the parts menu, along with offroad tires, which can make it slightly more offroad capable. But there's no way this thing is going over rocks without serious modification.
Tried to make a "rally" version of my own using race and rally components, but if I try to change the rear wheels to accomodate different tyres, the engine overheats when I accelerate. The default wheels only have a single set of slick tyres, and drum brakes.
No longer works in 0.16. The body of the Moonhawk has been changed drastically, so the strecthed parts do not fit anymore. Engine and transmission still work apparently, but there's no driveshaft so the car doesn't move.
Thanks for the report ! I'm aware of the Moonhawk redesign and I'll try to update the parts soon, and the missing driveshaft is pretty much a non issue. I'll see what I can do

nice update buy the way can you make a machinegun pack for the other cars so we can put it on the roof this would bee awsome it would give the fell of interstate 76 too the other cars too like your mod it has
Now I absolutely love this mod. When I first got it I was in love with the engine sound. I love how loud and accurate it sounded specially at low revs. However, I noticed after an auto update (I got it though the repository) the engine sound changed to a more muffled, quite sound. It sounds cheaper and the individual combustion's not as pronounced. I'm curious, what was your motivation for this change?
please make a version thats normal, one that could be used as a cool standard vehicle not some crazy 12000HP shit with a hood so big you cant see anyting in the hood cam view.
To be fair, quite a few do.....just not your garden-variety, WW2-vintage, fighter aircraft-type 1600cu-in V12s or radials. Plus, well....there's plenty of other "normal" engine mods for the Moonhawk. So....yeah...
Unfortunately these engines also were big. This mod using Spitfire engine for example. Well, even WWI era airplane engines are quite big and I doubt would fit. Typical radials also wouldn't fit. Yes, you could put few of them, but it's not worth it because they are not that powerful for a car. Of course I'm talking about what you can fit under the hood of BeamNG cars.
