Civetta Bolide

My bad, i had forgotten which mods i had installed.

 

So, with regards to the body being overhauled soon as older official cars are brought up to the same standard as the newer official cars, there's likely going to be some adjustment to the Bolide.



Is there any chance that we may get a targa-top type body as a variant? If the Jbeam structure of the hardtop body is going to be overhauled anyway, a removable roof could add a good number of variants, as well as Beamng's first open-topped roadster.

 

IMO, Bolide needs just a few things:

- A side scoop. It could really use some air intakes, which would also liven up the otherwise slab-sided profile of the car.

- Better taillights, now a bit too small and kinda dated. Concealed behind the rear grille, maybe...?

- A good set of new alloys. Brand-specific rims currently available are rather uninspired, too rough and generic.

- An improved engine model...

- Some options for the interior (beige "Connolly" leather...?) would also go great lengths to lift its overall appearance.

Yes, pretty much.

I had 5-spoke star-shaped (centerlock?) rims in mind, but Lamborghini wheels work, too...

Some new features could really help the Bolide stand out more.

 

I didn't expect anyone to be able to improve on the Bolide shape, assumed I would be heading for another "RIP car" moment like I had with the Sunburst, but that actually looks pretty sweet.

 

Why not just have a face lift version of the car?

 

Many Lamborghini's and the Pantera did have special versions with more aggressive looks, that is an option. However, the Bolide overall is a bit of a weird car, IMO it really doesn't feel like it matches contemporary styling. I wouldn't mind it seeing some big changes when it gets updated.

 

I personally like the oddness of the Bolide. It's out of place, out of touch, and is all the cooler because of it. I don't really want that many changes to the body, it's got the right kind and amount of character as-is. Still needs a targa and a better engine model though.

 

more interior colors (just like the other cars have gotten), more configs and aftermarket support (wings and bodykit and stuff) too.

 

I think the Bolide is pretty ok in design, but it could use an update. Maybe a rollcage, and a new aero kit. But right now, I have no problems with it

maybe some kind of facelift parts, like the late model countach and jalpa, and the ferrari 208 to 328 facelift.
or maybe just more body coloured plastic parts?

 

Yeah, a face lift would be nice. The moonhawk is the only vehicle with a facelift, well, the Roamer is the D-Series facelift I guess, but it would be nice to have another car with a facelift option

 

The I-Series kind of has a facelift, and the Piccobello has like 3

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about the piccolina, its kind of a weird one when it comes to facelifts to me.

But, I think the Bolides facelift could be like a Ferrari F40, I think it would fit it as a facelift
