Not all people are the same. Blijo has explained many times why he won’t release it to the public till it’s finished.
Well this has devolved quickly. I personally support @Blijo, tracking down several real examples of the car, and historical documents, just to make it as accurate as possible is very impressive. I think a solution similar to what @Ai'Torror came up with, and finishing the mod, then offering it for a small payment over patreon or something, then releasing it for free after a month or two. As well as asking for compensation from youtubers, it would encourage those who aren't likely to pay to do so anyway so they can get it sooner to make clickbait or whatever, and would allow those who don't want to pay to get it eventually too.
Or they're just too young, and again, as someone else stated, that would be denying them of the mod. Just be patient, and though I agree that modders do not get the appreciation/money they deserve for all their hard work, it's no excuse to deny people that cannot afford it.
No one is denying anyone anything. I am simply saying to incentivise modding to make it more attractive, but people are hating really hard and it's really cute! I am in no rush for this mod.
Im perfectly fine with paying for a well made mod... and evrybody should be... I just despise publishers trying to make profit of stuff they didnt make (aka Bethesda) but if beamng would get 5 new cars right now as dlc id happily pay for that
Where are you guys going? @Blijo did not say the mod is going paid. @Blijo said that he is making the mod for free, for everybody. He would prefer that Youtubers and co. would not use his mod for monetized purposes ( read as, making money off his free work ) In short, nobody makes money of this mod, during its life cycle. No. It's not ready. It's clearly still in the works. WIP, the BIG ORANGE LABEL mean Work In Progress. Furthermore, do not beg for releases, links, and definitely do not command that people do so. If you bothered to read, y'know any post that the mod author has made, in every one he clearly states that this does not have a release date. It will be done When It's ready™.
