Trailer Re-spawning Thought

I love the feature that the trailer that is attached to your vehicle re-spawns with you when you reset your vehicle. But is there any way to disable that? I am making like a self challenge for myself and hate that when I test it out it respawns with me and I have to place it back where it was. Also hate it when I respawn in some maps and have the trailer in the wall stuck with no way to get it out without hitting F12 to get it out.
I want a way to disable the trailer spawning attached when I restart. Is there any way for me to do that at the moment?

There is no setting for all I can tell to disable the trailer being spawned behind your vehicle.

I use mods but even without them I have this issue.

 

All you have to do for this part is just go into free camera and move to where you want it then if you haven't changed the key hit F7 and it'll drop it where you have your camera. No F12 required. Hope this helps.

 

Thats what I normally do. But I want an option for it to be the way it used to be.
