Or maybe he has one assembled by Innocenti... On a serious note... Most nightmarish reliability stories in the automotive world are fruit of hearsay blown out of proportion, really.
So true. As a Subie fanatic we need an Impreza coupe. I think that the Outback Sedan and the Legacy Wagon should come back to the US. Not every body who wants a wagon wants an Outback, and not every body who wants a sedan wants a Legacy. We also need a truck --cough new Baja cough--
Has anyone mentioned the Pontiac Aztec? Let's pray that doesn't come back. (It won't) How about the "Unknown" Toyota Venza?
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Subaru, without comptition from the LanEvo, uses Open rear Differential on their newer model Impreza STI.
Mazda RX-8 Honda S2000 (Not many production cars can rev to near 9000 RPM!) Dodge/SRT Viper (epic styling, epic track performance, and huge-displacement insanity) Mitsubishi 3000GT Saturn ION Redline (a supercharged I4 engine made this one stand out)
It was discontinued because side curtain airbags became mandatory, and there was no way to make them work with the Viper's low roofline. Therefore, according to the Sacred Rules of Modern Car Culture, you are no longer allowed to want it back, because it is no longer considered safe. (Anyone who didn't realize that was sarcasm must turn in their Car Enthusiast Card immediately.)
This is probably the closest you'll get to the M1 (not including the i8) in the future: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/electric/update-bmw-will-build-592bhp-vision-m-next-supercar
Busso powerplant needs to come back. Arguably, the best sounding 6 cilynder ever. --- Post updated --- inline 4 hyperbrid. This is worse than m8 which looks older than its predecessor already. Screw you Bmw, you disappointed us all.
All they do, these days. They got dethroned by the Ford Mustang on their home turf pretty much as soon as Ford officially started selling it there, simply because it delivers something like the driving experience BMW used to be capable of.
inline 4 hyperbrid. This is worse than m8 which looks older than Yep. And ironically, their non m variant cars( 240i,440i) are much better than m variants. İn my eyes, the only new m car is m2. Which actually is spiritual successor to the old 3ers.
