i have made a skin. the code all works but for some reason i can't save the dss file correctly so it doesn't show in game. help please (i use paint.net)

it should be a dds file

^ That's pretty generic.

It depends on what plugin/software you are using to save the .DDS file.
Most will ask to choose different DDS formats.
You should use DXT5 for diffuse textures (such as skins)

I believe so.

Save as .dds and then you should by able to select DXT5 from a drop-down menu
